You are too proud.

If you live long enough, you will see it happen in your own time.

I laugh at the ignorance on display here by many investors. Una never know wetin e mean for the swing low of any financial instrument to be taken out.

You guys are in for a rude shock! Many of y'all still come taunting me, asking when GTBank will hit 19.

Pretty soon we all will be alright.

My advice: be smart! Every other stock I picked worked out well right? So in all seriousness you think GTBank's recommendation will fail?

Sincerely, y'all don't know who you are up against!

That's an anomaly. Sold mine at 167% profit. Maybe you should contact them.
Ok thanks.
I contacted them and the anomaly corrected.
Chai! People missed out of this wonderful opportunity o. Imagine the tashere units showing over 150% profit.
Think we have to be doing indepth analysis of special arrangements like this going forward. undecided

If a stock doesn't meet your investment criteria, you will not see any stock that you did not buying and doing 100%, 200% as a missed opportunity....

Please, is MTNN a good buy now?

Mcy56:

This is outside my jurisdiction o. grin
I have ogas here who can recommend as well as back it up with analysis and charts.
However, we are entering the earning season when coys declare dividends for their end of financial year, you may read some pages backwards to see some of their recommendations..
Whichever one you decided to go with, you can table it here to get more updated opinion/analysis of experts on it.
Cheers!

NB: Check recommendations of Currentprice, Onegentleguy, BBM
Agba has only one or two: which is UACN or Wapco. grin
....Wapco is actually good cos CP and OGG also recommended it, its yet to witness much price appreciation compared to others and, other coys in its category arent doing bad/far ahead of it................................this is my personal opinion.
.....your fund size should also be considered in other to know which price range to look at.

After reading previous pages and further research, I have Considered ETI@7.8, WAPCO@15, Caverton@2.91, FBNH@7.25, FCMB@1.92.

Bosses in the house, please are the stock listed above good Buys and okay at the current price?

Thanks in anticipation.

Market is in the state of macabre dance.

Veecovee said he was on missionary work. And all the witches are also away.
Why is it that his absence and witches absence coincide?
Are they on the same mission?

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by rebekah2011(m): 6:07pm On Jan 13, 2020
I do not yet understand the excitement around Lafarge Africa. The repayment of loans it has made this year was down to the rights of 89b and I think about 10b from operations. The implication is that the balance of the 64b loans as at September 2019, how will they be able to pay this asap. The operating profit before tax is not robust enough to pay the loans asap. The coy has to find a way to generate more revenue than it is currently doing. However, this should not deter anyone from making money from the company as there are plenty of sentiments around it. The declining revenue should also be a source of concern to the shareholders.

What firms offer the DIY experience in stock trading?

bigjay01:

sometimes this diversification thingy na my achilles heel.

I believe it stems from the fact that i got involved in stock (in my adult life) when everything on the exchange did relatively well (2006-9). I was kinda scraping the market.

explains why i have a few dead bones in my portfolio (dunlop, tantalisers, bigtreat, omatek etc)

On the other hand, imagine if I had concentrated on those ones that are now dead?

In my opinion, the best thing that has happened as far as retail investing is concerned is DIY (aka online trading)

Lots of newbies coming into the market grin

When they taste the first loss in their capital, the speed with which they will depress this market(by selling down fast) will be alarming.

Many will vow not to return to stock market again...

Some of my friends that we entered market together in 2006 are not ready to listen to any story about stock market again after the 2008/2009 market crash.
