The man celebrated and rejoiced with friends and well wishers when he gave birth to these children some decades ago.Today,he goes back to his creator heartbroken and abandoned by these same children.What unforgivable offence did he commit that made them to hate him to his grave?Even if he abandoned them in their childhood,they shouldn't pay him back with evil,afterall Funke is successful today maybe without her father's assistance.How would they feel in their own graves if their children mete out this same treatment to them when they die?For the fact that the man had no second wife shows that he was hopeful that his children would forgive him and bury him when he dies.Sadly,the stone-hearted children remained unforgiving and bitter towards him till death.If he knew,he should have married a 2nd wife who could have given him good children.I qurell with my parents very bitterly but I can never be this stone-hearted.I felt relieved after reconciling with my parents when we were not on talking terms for 2yrs.

I have heard of a woman who turned all her 7 children against their father, by telling them he wanted to use them for money ritual but she refused and left him. The man reverted to bachelorhood and even in his old age the children, then grown ups, never saw reason to have anything to do with their dad. Sometimes it may not be the mother who's the culprit, but a babalawo or a useless "man of god".
