Tony sniffle, look away and face her again, face still smouldering in his stony look..."Am not getting into that car.."

She eyed him.."Am done..."She said before walking back to the car...

"He isn't coming..?"Simon asked

She look back when the car back door open, she drag in a smile as she watch Tony sit on the backseat.....

"Let's me clear..."Tony stated..."No more preaching to me, don't even bother talking to me till we get to our destination...., are we clear...?"

The fear travelled in Janet's vein, rendering her breathless but yet she kept tip toeing towards the window with no hint of hesitation...
Her heart hammered against her chest when she slightly open the window curtains, slide the window to create to peep outside..., except for the smoke fuming the cloud from the far end of the road, she saw nothing else....

"There's no one outside...."She mutter closing the window and dropping the curtain..

"You think they're gone..."Lily asked anxiously

Janet took a deep drag, her head buzzling with questions..."I think so..."

Adrenaline flood their system pumping with irregular beats the moment a knock came on the door...

Janet drew closer to Lily and once again they crunched beside the bed...

"Janet..."A low voice rumbled from outside..

Janet froze, fear holding her in it's grip...

"Janet are you there....?"The voice came again...

"Who's that...?"Lily asked

Janet inhale deeply to calm her panic before saying..."That's my neighbour..."

"Your neighbour..!"

Not bothering to reply, she stood up and walk towards the door....
"Sam, are you alone...?"Janet asked crisply

"Yes, they're gone.."

"Don't open the door..."Lily mouthed

"Sam are you sure...?"Janet asked

"I just want to be sure you're alright...."Sam said from outside

Convinced, Janet unlock the door and slightly push it open....

"Are you okay...?"Sam asked

Janet nodded before her eyes flicked to the many broken bottles on the floor....
"God, who were those people...?"Janet asked curiously coming out from the door to take a closer look...

"Cult boys..."

"The gay cult...?"Janet asked sharply before realizing the question came out wrong..

"Gay cult..., is there a thing like that...?"

Janet huffs.."Forget about it, you were saying some cult boys did this...?"

"Yeah....."

"Why here...?"

"I don't know..., i think they're going from compound to compound terrorizing the innocent with fear..."

"It worked, i was pretty scared...."

"We all were..., some of the neighbours have refused to come out..."

"Do you think they'll return..?"Janet asked curiously

"I'll let you go back to sleep..."

"Yeah thank you...."She said before stepping back into the room....

"Goodnight..."He chime in with a smile...

"Sleep well Sam and pray they don't return..."

She laugh and watch him leave.., just when she was closing the door, she saw the front light of a car shoning her direction, scared it might be the bad guys, she closed the door without hesitation......

"Are they really gone..?"Lily asked taking control of her rigging heart...

"I don't know..."

"What if they come back..?"

"What if they do..?"

"Don't say that okay.., they're not coming back..."

"Okay.."She hushed and glided on the bed..

Janet inhale before trotting to seat on the other side of the bed, it wasn't long before her phone vibrated beside her..

"Daisy..."She called out sharply after answering the call...

"I'm outside your house..."Daisy's said

Janet stood up and looked through the window, before walking to open the door...

"Janet..."Daisy said walking to her for a hug....

"What really happened..?"Daisy asked again relieving herself from the hug..

"Why is he here...?"Lily chimes in angrily from behind..

Daisy looked back, sigh and revisit her gaze on the girls...."I asked for his help.."

Tony drew closer, the fear of been rejected and stoned with insults shitting his stomach....
"Lily, am sorry.."He mutter..

Lily hissed and stepped back into the house...

"Lily.."He called after her..

"Tony.."Daisy cut in...."Just stay here okay, I'll talk to her....."

"Okay..."Daisy reiterated before walking in with Janet leaving the two boys to fight with the invisible spears of the cold outside...

"Okay..."Daisy said in surrender...."I'll tell him to leave...."

Daisy nibbed her lips, looking at them if they'll change their mind, when they didn't, she excused herself and stepped outside....

"She's not seeing me..."Tony said when Daisy drew closer to him...

She shook her head before letting the words out..."No..."

"Okay, I'll go home then..."

"Wait, Simon will take you home..."Daisy said

"No..."Tony countered..."Enough of the homophobic speech, I'll find my way home..."

"Just tell my wife am sorry okay, and I'll keep saying it until she forgives me..."Tony said before turning to walk out..

"Tony..."Daisy called after him..

"Bye and goodnight..."He returned over his shoulder...

"Someone do seem like they had a rough night..."Simon crowled walking close to Daisy..

Daisy folded her hands across her chest..."And whose fault is that..?"

"Am sorry..., and i wasn't even talking about him, am talking about the broken bottles..."

"I don't know.."Daisy said, fear revisiting her nerves..."I haven't ask them..."

"So you going to sleep here...?"He asked curiously

"Yeah.., that's the plan except you have some other plans under your sleeve..."

He chuckle..."I don't, stay with your friends tonight..."

He widen his eyes and curve his lips as if thinking...."A lunch at my house today will repay me...."

"Ouch..., please don't do that, i might get a panic attack and die with your name in my mouth...."

"Alright.., I'll come..."

"You want to come in..?"She ask pointing at the house..

"No..."She said...."Lily will, but the owner of the house, she's a little wild..."

"Go be with your friends.."He said

He laugh and she join in the laughter....

"Alright, drive home safety okay, and if you meet anything inhuman on the way, do not hesitate to call me..."

He smile...."Goodnight..."

"I'll call you when i get home..."

"You better do..."she said and watch him till he step into his car and drove off....

Janet was awakened by the light knock on her door, she check her time, it was morning already, she yawn sluggishly and rose up from your middle carefully stepping down from the bed so she won't wake her friends up...

When the knock came with her name, she had no choice but to unlock it..., her heart raced with shock when she saw who was at the door...

"Good morning..."Kenny greeted

She quickly close the door and stepped outside before dragging him to a corner so her neighbour looking at her from the flat close to her one room apartment won't eavesdrop on her conversation....

"What do you want..?"She asked wearing a false angry facade...

She look away and reface him again, her head beginning to buzz with contradicting thoughts...."So the woman who...

"I want to take you out..."Kenny said when he got to his car..."To make up for the insults from my fake wife..."

"Nothing can make that up.., i was really hurt by her words..."

"Am sorry..."He mutter

She fold her hands across her chest..."Okay, where are we going....?"

"Chinese restaurant..."

"Janet..."He called out when he realise she wasn't looking at her but her gaze was locked on the road instead...

"Oh my God, that's her...."Janet snapped

"That's who...?"He asked looking at the direction of her eyes..

"That's the woman who insulted me, your supposed wife..."

"The one carrying a baby on the other side of the road..."Janet said, her eyes still locked on the woman..."Am going to meet her..."

"Yeah.."He said, when she scurried off to meet his supposed wife, he followed..

Rage burn in Janet's eyes as the the woman's harsh words burn her from inside out, she cross the road not even bothering to look sideways to get to the woman....

"Hey you.."She snarled stepping in the woman's front...

The woman wanted to walk away but she dragged her back not minding if she was carrying a baby..

"Please let me go..."She pleaded..

Her words added gasoline to Janet's rage sparking the burning fire inside her....
"Do you remember me...?"Janet queried

"Please, i need to get my daughter to school..."

"Well i just need you to answer one question..."Janet said..."Do you know who this man is..?"She queried pointing at Kenny..

"No.."The woman replied...

"You don't...?"

"No.."She said

"This is the man you claim to be his wife you condensing piece of thrash..."

Once again the woman attempted to walk away but Janet dragged her back and the baby almost fell from the woman's hand and Janet didn't care....

The woman took a few steps forward in attempt to run away..

The woman flick her eyes at Janet, then at Kenny..."Am not saying a thing, she insulted me, so we're even now.."

"No we're not.."Kenny said.."Am the one you ruined his relationship, we're far from even young lady, so am going to ask for the last time and i mean it the last time, who asked you to act like you're my wife...?"

"Barry..."She blare out..

"What..?"Janet chided..."Did you say Barry...?"

The woman eyed her before continuing..."Yes Barry, he gave me 30k to tell you am Kenny's wife, i was broke so i took the money and did the job..."
