Hi nairalander, i've been going through this thread for few days now. I want to do my masters in Canada although i'm still busy with my NYSC for now but I've not figured out which school i should apply for yet. Some one recommended York University or University of Canada west. Can i get a recommended school on here and some advice so i can start preparing for my next move.

Right now the plan is to start with the school application and process my student visa next

A reply will be very much appreciated
Thanks

I hope you know that University to Canada West is a private university and as such, it doesn't qualify you for PGWP upon graduation.

There are several universities in Canada. Or you can search based on the province you like.
Eg Universities in Manitoba, Universities in Ontario etc.
Some of the popular ones here are
University of Manitoba
University of Saskatchewan
University of Regina
Brandon University
University of Calgary
University of Prince Edward Island
Memorial University of Newfoundland
University of Victoria BC
University of BC
University of Alberta

Thanks
i'll make my research on some of the listed schools, but I'd prefer a school that doesn't require SAT, GRE and those other exams.

I'll be back

Dear Canada Student visa trend,

Trust this meets you well.

My name is seyi i am new on this space but really need your advice and impute with regards to masters and opportunity in Canada. I agree that this takes process, patience and prayers but while at it, i would appreciate your experience and input on the whats required for me to get an admission in canada

I graduated with a cgpa Of 2.6 from the department Of Estate Management which i agree is low. i have 2 years of working experience in a reputable Real estate company in Nigeria. In addition i am in the process of attaining a Project management certification to add to my qualification. i have written no standardized test nor English test. but i am willing to if necessary although i rather not.

i am afraid with the little research i have carried out, i have limited chances with my low cgpa.

my questions are ?
1. should i be applying for a masters, pgd or diploma considering my cgpa?
2.what do i need to increase my chances of admission?
3. What schools should i be targeting ? Community schools or universities?

Many thanks as i look forward to your response in this regard.

kind regards,

SAT is for undergrad
and you'll find that most Canadian schools don't require GRE
