Thanks for ur response.

It's for an undergraduate level. I've checked MUN but they do not have medicine, but Nursing.

Frankrobbn1:

For undergraduate or post graduate level?

Check Memorial University of Newfoundland.

I have already paid my school fees last year december just for student visa/permit application.

So your sponsor will cover living expenses(CAD 10,000) or you have that aside?

Thanks a lot for your contribution
The person paid $1000Cad as part tuition required by the school from his account, to prove commitment. I really don’t understand the living expense part. Please what steps should be taken so as to convince the VO when the time comes. Thanks again.
I don't know how much your tuition fee is, but CAD1000(from a 3rd party) might not be enough to convince a vo.
Living expenses is at least CAD10,000, so do the math by adding the balance of your tuition fee to the living expenses of CAD10k. Your sponsor needs to show more commitment so you don't raise any doubt in the mind of the vo

Enter the school website... it's pretty simple... u can use your Bsc/transcript to apply for admission. IELTS isn't a requirement as long as your Bsc was taught in English
Wait, sir u mean if I want to apply for post graduate diploma I don't need IELTS? Since I have Bsc/transcript?

1st of all.. I dont know Simon Fraser university, I didn't apply there.. in fact am leaving Nigeria for the very 1st time in my life..so I am going to get the knowledge of canada wen I get there...

I suggest you go to thread 15.. and read up cos there were Msc applicants who applied, got supervisors and funding and got visas...

Yes of course
I have been going back and forth with them over this.In the letter of English Proficiency sent by my school,my degree was confirmed there. The Director finally got involved and said that 'All documents received will be included as part of the review'.
Don't know whether to get worried

Ok brother, thanks a lot. I appreciate sincerely.

“In reviewing your admissions file for the upcoming term, it was noted that a condition of your acceptance is still outstanding. Typically, the condition is an official copy (an original, paper copy, signed and/or sealed by the appropriate body) of your secondary school or post-secondary transcript”
Please are they talking about submitting waec details plus waec scratch card as regards the above sentence?

They are asking for your transcript, it has to be sent by your previous institution (not by you). But if you think they won't send it on time you can plead with them to seal it and give you to send via any of the courier service companies around you (but make sure you put the name of sender as your previous school).
NB: Have you asked your previous school(s) to send your transcript to them?

Hello Onweke,

The fund is insufficient, look for a more reliable sponsor. If you have a work experience or still working, its best advised to include one. You should try to get at least your LE in it.

All the best.

What's the sufficient amount you suggest to be in the account?

Actually, my younger brother finished secondary school two years ago, he is applying with his WAEC result, he has not engaged in any post secondary programme. Also he wrote his waec exam in a school different from where he attended secondary school. And we filled in the school that appeared in the waec certificate in his application form. So I am a bit confused on where I should go get his secondary school transcripts.
Thanks sir

His transcript is just his report card(list of subjects he took and the grades he got from jss1-ss2). Let him go to those schools and ask them for it (they should still have his record), if they don't then let them give him a letter to that effect. Another option is to include his waec results checking card

They have not updated mine till now. What Did you submit from your school that made them confirm your degree?Cos I've written several emails to them.
For English proficiency, your suppose to get a letter from your school indicating that your were taught in English.

It was just my transcript and certificate . But did your school send it through courier to them straight? Of they did then did you track it to be sure it has gotten to the school?

Please who have requested for MYBank statement from a GTB account, how did you go about it?

Their customer service in the bank appears not to understand what this means.

Did you not submit a notarized letter from your school saying you were taught in English or did your official transcript not have information like you were taught in English? if yes, please contact memorial university to lodge your complain.

Yes my transcript is translated in English. No I did not submit any letter differently that states I was taught in English from my school before now . So I've been trying to contact my school , Its in Turkey so I communicate with them just through email but they are currently on semester break so I cant get a feedback until maybe next week. And 15th is the deadline for MUN applications for the program I'm applying for . Apparently this is the only document empty on my checklist. Please is this going to be a problem? can I still send MUN an email and how can I even explain to them

First application was refused in May 2019.I requested for Gcms note, deferred the admission to fall 2020.I didn't rush to reapply in other not to show desperation. I used the period to save massively so as to have enough fund to cover the two yrs MSc program.
I repackaged my SOP and LOE to address the reasons for the first refusal.Added more documents like PFA statement, salary statement, payslips my wife n mine, marriage cert n pics etc I paid only 600 Canadian dollars acceptance fee, backed with prayers...
