My brother, no update yet oh. Still under review since Nov 13th 2019
October and November applicants, any update?
If you don’t have an update since NOV., have you contacted them via email?
Did you do an upfront medical?

Please what is the full meaning of LOE, I see it being used alot here.

I was also refused last year for January 2020 intake and would like to re-apply for September 2020 intake.

When I requested for my GCMS note, it was stated that my reason for traveling to study abroad is vague, not properly documented and not convincing enough that I will return after study.

I did Agricultural Science as an undergraduate and have been working with Telecoms company for about 10 years. The course I applied for is PGCert in wireless networking which is related to my current field.

Please I need a guide on how to write an SOP that will convince the Visa officer.

Thanks and God bless.
LOE - letter of explanation

Switching from agriculture to wireless networking is what the VO considered as your study plan being vague and not properly documented and that is not a fear decision since you have about 10yrs working experience in that field.
Sometimes I wonder if these VO’s spoke weed or they just give visa at random. Because this your case is called career progression and should fly.
But maybe your LOE or SOP as the case may be, was not convincing enough.
Therefore, I will advise you put more effort on that while responding to the refusal reasons when next.
I wish you luck

Okay this is what I think it’s right to do,
1. If your father is your sponsor, there is need submit the documents in his name.
2. If you are not a teenager and has been working, you should have a property of your own in your name. Your dad can give you a portion of his land or houses. “A gift of land” or “irrevocable gift of land”
Mind you, properties does not only limit to empty land. It can be houses with income, it can be land that brings income(farm or anything), it can be his business, it can even be his very expensive car(with documents oh), etc
So he will his own and you have your own both submitted ‘if’ you are of age or maybe 1st son or only son etc

Solve the maths yourself.

You can apply from your present location so long as you maintain or have a valid resident permit in that country.

Good luck. smiley

My agent, told me that it is a requirement for study visa in Canada. That I will have to go to Abuja to authenticate my documents in the ministry of education and foreign affairs, which I did.

Check out these schools:

1. University of Manitoba
2. Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN)
3. University of Prince Edward Island (PEI)
4. Brandon University, Manitoba

There could be more, just try and make extensive research and choose the best for you.

Good luck. cool

Have you previously applied to come to Canada?. Can you provide a detailed overview of your profile and the list of documents you intend submitting with your application. I will need this information before I can make any recommendations and advices.

It will end in praise.

Hi Frank.

Almost in the same shoe.

I have a past refusal for a PGC Business Accountancy and have received my gcms note.

The previous reasons were 'Purpose of visit', 'Personal Assets and Financial Status', 'Vague Study plan'.

I have no travel history but that wasn't mentioned by the VO.

I now have an Masters Admission (MBA) for fall 2020 and will like to reapply next week.

1. My first degree qualifications (A 2:1 in Finance, 2016).
2. Employment docs.
3. My SOA and will add that of my sponsor.
4. Myself, siblings and parents birth certificates.
5. A new LOE and study plan.
6. Had an upfront Medicals for my previous app in April 2019. Don't know if it will still be valid for a new app.

Alongside the forms and acceptance letter.

I have an online folder containing all docs and forms submitted in the old app.

Really need your advice and guide.

It will be to your advantage if you list out the document you submitted in the refused app. That way, gurus will be able to direct you on what to add this time.

And by the way, what do you mean by , STUDY PLAN?

I would like to know if anybody else has applied to the same school and if i should call them to request for a fast response.

Hello Obehi,

Please, do you reckon that I have to highlight that I own a property in my SoP, or the documents of the property should suffice?

What do you think?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,
No, I didn’t do it because I studied abroad, when I was in Abuja I met ppl dat studied here in Nigeria and they came for the authentication too for a Canadian study visa.

And as for the direction, just go to ABJ and bring all your documents and photo copy that you want to use for the Canadian study visa. The ministry will pick the documents they want to stamp and you have to go to ministry of education first be4 foreign affairs.
