Urgent question please, when someone is denied a visa to a particular country can you reapply to another country or are you expected to wait six months? Thanks for your replies

Fulani this Fulani that, can't you make your comment without always dragging them.

adecz:

Islam came to the Yoruba by
the peaceful way, not by jihad..

That is why you don't have a fanatical
do or die attitude amongst the
Yoruba Muslims;; and they also live
side by side with brothers or strangers
of other religions.

The Hausa's were also peaceful Muslims
until the Fulani came & forced them
into fanatical, radical, intolerant,
backwards Islam that prohibited western
education..

That is why the average Fulani is still
living in rugas, in the bush in huts made of
leaves with his cows & refuses education
even when govt came up with 'Nomadic
Education" for them

this is absolutely wrong, the egba and ijebu people have been Christians since 1700s, the first bible was written in yoruba over 200 years ago.
Yoruba are only muslim due to the influence of the north, core yoruba are traditionalists and NEVER islamist.

I am 100% sure you dont know shit about yoruba history. And probably never visited south west. More than 65% of the people in osun and ogun are have been Christians for generations. The ijesha, egba, and ijebus are some of the first to convert to christianity in this country .

According to statistics 44% of southwest is Christian, 40% Muslim and 16% traditionalists. In short, yoruba race have more traditionalists by percentage than any other tribe in Nigeria

Please get your fact right
God bless u for this.
I remember in d late 80s&early 90s, we hardly had 2 muslims in my classes of an average of 40 pupils

Bode thomas is my former area, most Yoruba kids in that area don't follow their fathers religion, but that of their mothers, because their fathers are usually well educated and liberal.

Fun fact
There are no Muslims, Christians, or tradtional worshipers in yorubaland

The only religion is being a Yoruba

Thats why a Yoruba can practice all religion without breaking a sweat.
They have all ready understood from ages that religion is the opium of the masses
Now that is what we call sophistication
Yeah...back in the days, not now undecided

80% of Yoruba Population from Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Lagos and Kwara are Muslim. The remaining 20% either converted to Christian or their parents or grandparents converted to Christian or thier lineage could be traced to Ondo or Ekiti state.

Very right ! It's a real fact. There is a wisdom in this your post. Big up !

You're wrong sir. Research has shown that there are more Christian Yorubas than Muslims. Some probably converted to Christianity from Muslim families, but a clear majority will tell you they are Christians. I work a lot with socio-demographic data, this is what I do on a regular basis undecided

BTW, no surprises on the list of celebs who are Muslims, why would a Sultan be a Christian? Or an Afeez?

No bro, Osun is never 65%, the most populated LGA, like Osogbo, Iwo, Ede, are all Muslims, Islam enter ikirun as far as 15century bfr Christian coming to Nigeria, Oyo which is the most populated indigenous Yoruba state has more Muslims, But the least populated state like Ekiti and Ondo has more Christians.

Why not give a counter fact according to your view. Name all the prominent christians from the states the guy listed and you'll find that their backgrounds were muslim backgrounds including prominent pastors e.g Oyedepo, Ashimolowo etc

Being a yoruba and living in the south west is enough for me to know that saying yorubas from the states he mentioned are 80% Muslim is unbelievable and silly.
I can't give people wrong fact.

SW is the only region where the three major religions thrive without conflict. You rarely see a family that won't have Muslim, Christian and Traditional. I love the liberal minds but too much of that sometimes could open ways for some other bad things.

Where did you get your statistics? 65%/of the south West population is secular and worldly. They believe in the 3 major religions in Nigeria. They believe in the religion where things are happening. Because things are happening in the Christian religion, the population of gatherings doing RCCG congress or convention is alarming. I dare any of your living or dead prophet to gather such a crowd in all of your religious programs in any part of the country.
So, stop fooling yourself. The only thing your religious leaders resort to doing is to cook up religion propaganda, killing, hypnotizing, conjuring against the sudden revival in Christianity.
Your religion has been in existence since 1800 but people In villages and towns resort worshiping idol and occultism. There wasn't any impact of it on the populace but at the emergence of Christianity, everything turns and people started throwing away their idol objects under their bed and pillow. Either your people like it or not Jesus Christ will reign in the whole earth forever.
Think about it.

The percentage presented by your mind is entirely determined by your environment, association, and motive for cooking the topic in the fi place.

There's no official figure as to the population of Nigeria, let alone percentages by the religions practised.

Everyone are always surprised when they learn certain debauched people could be "Muslims"
The thing becomes news
That says a lot
It becomes news because people are actually happy that these set of Muslims from this part of the country are not Terrorists, Bandits or Kidnappers because that's what an average Muslim is known for, but not so with the Yoruba Muslims

BIG LIAR ....

apart from Kwara... THERE IS NO STATE IN THE SOUTHWEST THAT HAS MUSLIMS MORE THAN CHRISTIANS....Political office holder is no a way of getting statistics....Same thing many people are doing for northern state, state like Sokoto, Kebbi, Kastina, Kano, Yobe ... All have atleast 8% christians, but because of religion intolerance in the north the christians in the core northern state are marginalised... State like ,; Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe ,has majority as christians but for Islamic fanatics they would want to do all to sideline their own people because of religion , it's very bad....christians are free to converts to any thing they choose to , but should a Muslim try such , it's a war , but why ??, Does religion makes one a good person ?
