Good day house, pls a friend of mine received his bvl on the 17th of Feb since that time till now, nothing yet, so I advised him to mail him which he did and after few days he got response from them that his application is still on process, and he is really worried because after bvl notification ,most times refusal comes next.. Pls frnds what could be possibly be the problem here, how can he go about this,he applied through paper route, I will be glad to get directves on what he can so to know where he stands..
Kind regards.
Your best bet is to be patient and while at it (patience), be sure to get another admission letter if your program has already started or closed to start.
Another option is go for a medical if you have the ‘money’ and ‘time’ and upload it. This is to be done by faith.
So you have two options, pick one.
I wish you luck.

Hi guys, please I would like to know if it's better to go for a post-graduate diploma or certificate to complement my Mater's degree or opt for another Master's degree related to the one I have already, asper getting the study permit?

Hello Plantainboy1,

The most sincere question that you can ask yourself at this point is that would you be able to convince the VO on your reasons for wanting to spend huge amount for a second Masters. If yes, then go ahead but if no, opt for a Ph.D which shows better progression. However, same also goes for PGD/C.

I got a medical request.

BVL after medical request is usually a good sign.
Even though you’ve not been able to link your account, any major updates will be sent to you via text or email. So right now just pray and wait.
Please is this your first attempt?

please anyone here in lambton college Toronto??

Just got a conditional offer letter for supply chain management January 2021. It’s quite baffling cause I submitted my application on the 17th of February.

Hello Bruan,

There is no need to be baffled. College admission isn't as rigorous as university admission. Go ahead in fulfilling the requirement for the unconditional offer letter to secure your seat.

Hello House,
Do anybody here apply to university Canada west? I need some clarification about there admission and visa processing...
Is it compulsory to have ielts and if someone don't have will it affect the visa processing?
In a situation where visa is not given, how is their refunding process like?

Your CPGA wasn't bright for the Masters you had?

why would you do another masters ? PHD is a great opportunity, it is not even as expensive as Masters if you decide to loo away from Funded PHD to paid TUITION.

Unless there is more to it!

Please house. I got a refusal on Saturday but didn’t get any refusal email or message stating the reason for the refusal in my account. Please how can I go about getting the refusal message?
I applied through paper route and I really need the refusal reasons so I can tackle them when reapplying.

Hello NwanyiOkpa,

Not sure but check.

My advise has always been this to people seeking admission. If you can't get admission into the university for a desired course irrespective of the CGPA, go for a related course in college. When it comes to the stage of visa processing, put good effort in writing the study plan and remain hopeful.

Thank you for the advice. I will do sure to check the options

The reason will be GENERIC, Nothing serious.

Order Your GCNOTES with the UCI that you have, your application Number, by then you will be sure why you was Refused, Ka ji Ko?

Good day everyone.
How are you all doing today?
I’ve a question and I need an urgent answer Gurus in the house .
It’s regarding the bank statement of account for my travel application for study permit
Now this is the story
I’ve a bank statement dated from August 2019 to 10th of February 2020
Now I’m about to submit my application
What do you think ? Submitting the application by Friday March 6th ,2020.
Does it make sense using such bank statement without the past month full bank statement
Should I go ahead with the submission because I was able to gram my bank statement as at February 10 , that was my initial date of submission, but I had to make some corrections after following up this thread.

Now I need some one to come to my rescue . Thanks

Hello Staymotivated40,

You should reprint the BS within the last 3 -6 months.

The GCMS note takes 40 days to be available and I need to have applied before then. So can’t bank on that right now

I really appreciate your response...but someone just told me I need to book an appointment at vsf Abuja before going...please how true is it.

Hello Gninea,

If the person is a recent applicant that applied through Abuja vfs, then the norm might have changed but the last time I checked which was in May/June 2019, there was nothing as booking.

All the best.

Does it mean I can use a bank statement from August 2019 to February 10,2020

I will withdraw the application...
Thanks

Hello Ndubuisi1213,

Make haste about it.

ndubuisi1213:

Bro how can I withdraw it? My application was paper route...
Do I need to go to embassy and do it or via online? Which way is faster

You can raise both a webform and send emails to both Lagos and Nairobi VAC requesting to withdraw your application on the grounds of personal reasons, some made errors in your application or as the case maybe. The body message should be succinct followed by including your full name, PP number, DoB, CoR, UCI number if known etc.

Webform:

If you can not bank on it , you will Bank on Uncertainty and the Result will not be far-fetched!

Go ahead with your decisions, their is By-force on any suggestions here, more over you don't know who you are even advising!

Please guru in the house. Most of these schools in Canada do not have PGD for my program (Genetics) and I can’t get Msc admission because of my CGPA 3.15/5, but I was able to get Advanced Diploma. Please is this a progression for a Bsc holder, can I go ahead and apply for my Visa Application?

Thank you!

Hello Agboolaahmed,

A Bachelor is higher than an Advanced Diploma. An advise that I can give you is that if you can write a convincing study plan on how an Advanced Diploma is the right academic progression instead of a PGD/C or a Master, give it a try. Point out logical reasons and think deeply before providing explanations. If not, you should consider a progressional program.

N.B: numerous past applicants has been successful going for either a second degree or a lower program. It may be tedious but not impossible.
