My experience in secondary school Back then in Nnssph I used to use a bush path at the back of the school fence to navigate at the dead of the night between Aso Rock and senior Dorm to do one or two Box Terrorism and Locker shopping . And of course to dodge one assembly .


It was dangerous cuz the Bush has all sorts of snakes and insects it’s a miracle I never got bitten once moving around at those times.

When I was expelled at night for fighting. As in who does that? They opened the gate, told me to leave and locked the gate. I look left, look right, everywhere dark. I walked around to the side of the school, made sure no one was around and scaled the fence, got wounded by broken bottles on the fence. I sneaked into an empty classroom and slept there. Went to beg the principal at dawn with one teacher, got the expulsion commuted to 50 strokes of cane spread over a week.

2. In Jss 2, the teacher assigned to our class to monitor us during prep was always sleeping. Back then we had a silly game we played when any one was caught sleeping during prep, we would tie the person to his chair and desk. The game was getting out of hand, we no stop until we tied our teacher. And then the guy woke up!

The funny thing be say the guy laughed off the incident and warned us to stop.

We broke into his office, opened his locker with a master key.. Took the exam questions papers and Photocopied all with his copy machine... Then we returned the originals back to his locker.

We smashed the exams that year...

Till date it still remains the baddest thing I have ever done.


Three of those my friends are now yahoo Boys with baby mama's scattered all over lagos... While one is a pastor.

Mine was when our entire SS3 class was give 2 weeks suspension 3weeks to our Weac exams. We were yet to complete our practical classes in Chemistry and Physics, So I had to join my friends in there school without registration, so as to cover up before Weac exams. Few teachers that knew I attended O.G.S started questioning, I just told them I registered my Weac in their school. They didn't even bother checking their records, because they won't believe a 16yrs old can just buy school uniform and start attending classes without proper registration. Mad ooo

Back then in IJ FGC Lagos, we used to scale fence at the back of JS1 hostel.
There was this night there was massive scaling. What we scaled mostly to do was buy bread, egg and noodles from one Mai Shai at Iyana Era.

This very night was my first time scaling, a friend asked me to help him get noodles and eggs on my way back. On getting there, I met quite a number of my colleagues waiting and eating already, we ignored each other sha, to avoid suspicion from people that we’re students. I sha waited till it was my turn, it was already very late when my turn reached, every other student had left, leaving just me and another friend that we went together, we bought our stuff and those of my friend in school.

Around 11:30 we left the Mai Shai to go back, my mind wan cut, what if dem catch us? I sha do strong mind dey bounce dey go on a lonely dark street. As we approached the point of entry (fence) I noticed broken bottles scattered on the ground and some slippers, I looked back and around; wetin happen for here, these things weren’t here before na. What that meant was Obtainers don chase guys o, Obatainers! Ah! If dem catch me lasan na gbege o.
Obtainers was a term we used to refer to local louts then (area boys), they can spot a student easily. We hastened our steps and got to the point, sharply in two steps I reached the top of the fence and jumped back in, i landed awkwardly and sprained my ankle, omo it’s better to break leg than get caught and expelled.

On entering we saw flashlights pointing towards our direction, we dodged in a nearby bush. When the coast was clear we went to our hostels; as we reach my friends were surprised to see me, I was like; “wetin happen”, they replied: “dem no catch you, they talk say dem don catch u na”, I said who, they replied “Obtainers “. I told them I saw signs of scuffles but I didn’t see any Obtainers. They made me realize that they chased some students and even caught some, some fought back but were overpowered.

That was my first but not my last. Boarding school was fun mhen. I enjoyed it wella.

I went to a private primary school. What was reigning then was teachers having sex with each other after school hours using our tables. Anyways, that glorious day i and five of my friends decided to sneak back into the school after we've been successfully chased by our teachers. We got to the top of the stairs where our class (pry 4) was located and we were hearing moaning of our english teacher (not so sure) been banged by our maths teacher. We were taking turns in watching the porn unknowing to us the impact our combined zeal in the adult movie was having on the rail of the stairs. When it got to my turn, i have not even enjoyed my ticket up to 2 min when the rail crashed. Na so everyone pick race. Two weeks after, we were taking turns at the window of our headmasters office to watch another episode of porn. When it got to my turn, the pipe we were using as support just broke. I couldn't get out quick enough and so i was caught. I was given 6 strokes of cane each day for a week to mention my accomplise but i didn't. I could not avoid going to school cosnthen i have to explain to my parents why I'm not going and those day ehn...unless you are deadly sick, you can't stay home during school days.

Then i knew God wanted me to be a good girl and steer clear of all types of adult movie
I so love my primary school then.

It's very true. But I thank God my school library was equipped with millions of ancient and modern literature, history, enclopedia, and all kinds of books you can think of, all thanks to the Irish missionaries.

The whites sees books as gold and thanks to the seminary for protecting those books. It's now that I realize I can never have access to such fountain of knowledge, the seminary library.

It was there I read books that I can never find elsewhere in this country or maybe continent(Lol exergerating) books like Prester John, Ceasar d Bello Gallico, Vergil Annied, Story of the Amulet, Don Quixote, Wanderings of Marco Polo, Round the World in 80 days, Journey to centre of the Earth, King Solomon's mine, Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Little men, little women, in fact all the ancient books of adventure, hidden wisdom, magic, sorcerer, Catholicism, devil and demons, Holy Spirit, Mystery, history, science and math. All these books are very old and ancient, probably the very first edition.

But today I can't have access to them anymore and time wouldn't even permit me read novels again.
