The attached screenshot tells you that I have indeed actually clicked on the google forms link for your survey.

However,
1. What is your name ?
2. What school?

You could edit the form to read something like:
Dear respondent,
My name is Mohammadu Ganduje. I am an MBA student of the University of xyz.... I am carrying out a survey for my thesis titled..... I would be happy for you to kindly respond .... Bla Bla Bla...

But for you to open a Nairaland account yesterday, and begin to want to collect data ... Na wa for you ohhh

They might not have enough openings for May academic session as it isn’t as common as Sept and January intake.

Click on the link below for list of universities accredited by IBMS. Ulster, liverpool and the likes are outside london and they are accredited.

Yampotatocarrot:

Good day, please it's going to three weeks I applied to Coventry for M.Sc in biomed sciences, yet no reply from them. Considering I applied for May resumption, do I think I should still go on with it?

As someone already in the field, which other school OUTSIDE LONDON that has a good biomed department will you recommend?

Thanks and looking forward to your reply.

Well, I'm not trying to prove points but to add my thoughts.

I wouldn't believe that the lecturer cannot write a reference/recommendation letter.

I feel that the lecturer is trying to give the student the opportunity to have his own say on what to be written or added to the letter.. because, for real most of our lecturers are not aware of our skills and other qualities because student/lecturer relationship is poor.

Personally, I will prefer to give a sample. Lol..

Liljumy:

Your reply seems like he struck a nerve.
To be honest with you, I think it’s absurd for a HOD to tell you he needs to see a sample reference before he can type one.
According to the original post, he said it’s a common refrence letter for admission and not for scholarship application.
Even if the HOD can’t get it due to busy schedule or so, I believe he/she should have a secretary who can research on admission references.

As a parent, I would be ashamed of the school and dissapointed in the HOD if my child tells me his HOD said he needs to see a sample reference before he/she can type one.

Hi guys. I’ll give a brief insight about me and then proceed to ask my question(s).

In 2018ish, when I was processing my application to Canada, my dad died a couple of weeks after from colon cancer. I withdrew my application as I couldn’t go through with it. The money I recover from tuition was used to cover the expenses to airfreight his body back to Nigeria. The entire process to get a refund was tedious as I had to submit a copy of his death certificate etc. for the school to release funds to me.

2019, I was totally depressed. 2020 I am picking myself up by the bootstrap and processing my admission to the UK.

I have funds to pay my tuition in full, about £15,000, my mom is willing to commit the £9,135 as a loan towards living expenses (gotta pay her every dime when I start the 2 years PSW). Now here are my questions lol.

1. It is my desire to pay my tuition in May. However, I do not intend to process for the visa application till June, is that doable?

2. I resigned from my job in February, the letter of recommendation was dated a week after resignation, will it be somewhat of an issue during my admission process that the letter of recommendation from my employer is dated 2 months prior to submission?

I have read from pages 1-590 within a month, I am still struggling on the issue of CAS & the 28 days debacle, but I won’t ask questions on it yet until I fully begin with the admission process in May.

I hope to hear from anyone. Thank you guys.

Dont go there. Choose a proper school with campus in the UK. Y did u choose Berlin? Y not UK. You wont even benefit from PSW. Is the course even accredited?

Choose a proper government school with campus in the UK. You can get cheap school fees in BCU, Teeside, Salford, UCB and many more.

Sorry about the loss of your dad.

1. With one year Masters starting in Sept 2020, you are certainly eligible for PSW after your studies. You should apply for September 2020 admission now so you can meet the offer conditions early. You dont have to pay for your tuition now. You just need to pay a deposit ( about 1500 to 4000 pounds) depending on the school to obtain CAS for visa application.

2. It is not an issue. Apply now for admission. You can apply for Tier 4 Visa from June 2020 for September 2020 admission. Use standard visa application when applying in June or July 2020.

3. For your school to give you CAS, you will need to meet the tuition and maintenance fee requirements. You will submit your bank statement. The expected money should be in your account for at least 28 days. It must not be below the expected amount in any time within the 28 days.

Google tier 4 visa, google tier 4 Visa requirements for more information. Email the school where you will be given admission for more info during that time.

So if you show your bank statement to your school by May and pay the allotted deposit, you will receive CAS by June and then apply for visa. You also need to do tuberculosis test and get the tuberculosis medical certificate for visa. Google fo info.

Good luck.

Justwise and other gurus. I had my traditional marriage (introduction/engagement) in May 1st 2019 and we will be going to the Registry next month (April) for the court wedding.

Now wifey is getting set to apply for student visa in June/July for her masters and I will be applying as her dependant.

Since the marriage certificate we will be presenting is going to be dated April 2020, hope it won’t raise any red flags like it’s a sham marriage or sth.

We have a full album of photographs from our traditional marriage last year (including families and friends) and of cos we will also take pictures at the Registry. We also have photographs together dated far back as 2015 since we started dating both on our phones and social media (instagram, facebook, snapchat. And of cos WhatsApp logs. These are the things I can think of right now to prove we have been for long hence the reason I am seeking more knowledge

1)Are we safe to go ahead with the application and

2)how else do we need to show that the marriage isn’t sham and we have been dating for long but we only legalized it recently.

The embassy quite busy and less concerned about sham or no sham. All you are required is to show evidence of a valid marriage certificate and proof you are still together

It doesnt matter how new or old the marriage certificate is

1. The marriage certificate is safe to use

2. You have enough to prove that your marriage is genuine, marriage certificate is one of them, those new and old pictures is another one, few selection of what's app messages could also be added.

Of course your marriage certificate will be scrutinised and if found wanting then it's a ban.

Do you expect the embassy to take documents submitted at face value and turn a blind eye because they are busy?

Hey Hosey, Thank you.

Kindly clarify this too. Will the 28days statement used for CAS be the same as the one to be used for the Tier 4 visa, or would there be a need to submit a fresh statement of a 28days period for the Tier 4?

Doesn't necessarily have to be the same as long as your statement is no more than 31 days before your application.

Check the modules of the courses from both Universities.

Check the rankings of the Uni(not like it matters given your current choices)

Lastly, check the city you’re studying in, which of them resonates with you better, provides better opportunities in terms of jobs(use Indeed) & how far away they are from economic hubs if they’re not in one already.

All the best!

It is not compulsory and it can be the same bank statement as long as the bank statement is no more than 31 days before your biometrics appointment in the visa application centre.

Ensure that any bank statement you use is less than 31
before your biometrics appointment in the visa application centre. That is the law.

Good evening hosey, can you please explain more, I'm really confused, CAS is given 3 months before the course start date, and before it's given the school would love to see that the maintenance fee has been kept for atleast 28 days before they issue out the CAS, how would someone meet the no more than 31 days.

For instance, the maintenance fee is deposited May 28, june 24 the 28 days is completed and CAS takes 2days to a week depending on the school, so how does someone meet up, pls can you explain.
