Only in Nigeria will someone think this is possible because 'a big politician'. Not going to happen bro
ukay2:

Very true Sir.

People that bought during the January bulls are really not happy.

But thank God nobody is throwing stones this pandemic. ...we are all getting use to grandpapa bears

My fear is that if any of our big politician comes down with this virus .....NSE maybe asked to shut down because the great grandPapa bears will come up.

This is because local investors may cry to government that FPI are buying up the NSE equities in a ridiculous prices....that may make FGN to tell Oscar to shut down NSE. ...

Just my thoughts ooooo

I received some intel last week that there are FDIs who are looking to mop up world equities (including Nigeria) with good fundamentals and bottom low prices. They know the effect of the virus is transient and oil prices would rebound soon.

If you are in a good bus with currently low price, please hold and wait; patience is "GOLDEN". This is my advice but the rest is up to you.

Am not the one causing crude nor Dow to behaving the way it behaves. Or the one that bring the news of corona virus in Nigeria. What am talking about is the reality on the ground. I still have stocks I have not sell, and will not sell. Some call for stock fall, and corona virus surfaces and help their ministry, and really going below their expectations. I am investors who want more unit of sound fundamental stock at cheaper rate since the situation has introduces it, let it last so that we can help our ministry. grin grin grin

Or you don't want more share at cheaper rate?

Chibuking81:

You still have opportunity to bail out today, at any sight of bid, and reenter at lower lower price.

He is not selling but advising people to sell.
We all need to be careful.

Don't be confuse, yes I still have stocks that I have not sell, and will not sell, also I have those I have sold and will still reenter at lower price. It's not good to test the river with the two leg, or to put all my egg in one basket.

Did you think that all is well with the country, in the midst of the current happening?

You will get the answer by q1 and q2 result.

Many still think that company will still make high EPs in their 2020 q1 and q2 result as of last year, when the country are undergoing lockdown processes with recession nocking at the doors.

I pity the gullible ones here. As for me and my household, despite their noise, we're making money every day in this same market that they're saying we should stay away from. If one is not in the market, why not just read without posting unnecessary comments here! Haba!!

so those billions of zenith, gtb, uba and the rest those buying them does not know that things are not ok wt the country? My advice is, everyone should hold tight wt their stocks and buy more as it gets to thier domain. This time around is diff from 2008 when we were buying even useless stocks but now we buy sound stocks so nobody should sell their stocks in my own view, 2018 loading. It will end up inreasing the networth of many after the dust is settled

Cadbury is @ its lowest in more than 10 years, even though it has been growing its PAT 174% in 2018 and 30% in 2019 (though PAT was down 200% in 2017).

It recently hit a support @ N4.9 and has bounced off, hence the attention - its currently on high bid. Its usually illiquid and used as a swing stock by experts. If you wanna buy, be sure to sell @ N7.3 for a good swing, unless you are @ long term.

A weakened USD will be used to chase all assets worldwide. Nothing like safe haven anymore. All will find their way into stocks.

Savings in the US will attract little or nothing as interest.

Once the virus is contained and the world back to normal, QE might be withdraw and interest rate will be readjusted. They can’t do QE forever grin

London Stock Exchange (LSE) now up 8%. The LSE index is 20% away from getting back to its 52 week high of 8600+.

Soon, the UK would flatten the curve and all would be back to normal gradually.
