That hospital should be called out and closed up with immediate effect. My mom was right when she told me last night that she fears doctors and nurses fleeing when the numbers increases in Nigeria because Nigerians lack good working attitude.
Imagine ‘This is Coronavirus! Coronavirus is not my portion!’ Whose portion is it Mtchewwwwww

Doctors and nurses in better prepared and equipped climes are dying in their numbers... What does your country have in terms of hazard preparations and remuneration??!

A country where you pay an average healthcare staff 5k as hazard allowance, but dole out millions to senators for clothes alone, yet you want them to lay down their lives, forsaking their families for you??! On what grounds exactly??!...

Shey your labour minister said doctors can leave the country if they choose, that we have more than enough... Why the fuss if few out of the numerous choose not to risk their healths and lives??!...

I wonder why nma even called off our strike sef... This nation is not worth the time and effort tbh!!! Mtchewww!!!

So their first and only response is to be shouting "God forbid, Coronavirus is not my portion, security come and send them away"? Even if you won't let them disembark, why not turn them back(refer them to the right place) in a sensible and professional manner? Not surprised at y'all responses, it's how you guys act in your various places of work...it's in the blood. This is Nigeria...bunch of unprofessional idiots.
You're the fool here, so were they supposed to admit them and risk this health of all the patients on board, their reaction is justifiable cos corona aiiint no joke.

“The guy was suspected to have COVID-19 by the doctor that saw him in a private hospital and referred him to the Gbagada General Hospital."

The doctor at the private hospital that referred him to Gbagada should have known that the best place to refer him to is Yaba hospital for infectious diseases

What oath sir?! How well are your elected leaders abiding by their sworn oaths of office??!...

Sowore called for a revolution, and most of you mocked him... Now, in the midst of ineptitude, you are asking hapless, unequipped and exposed health workers to abide by some bloody oath... Go have a word with yourself!!!

Are they not health workers? They're supposed to be brave. If every other health workers act like them, we are finished.

If they are your relatives you will have ask them to wait? When they don't have the equipment to handle it there meanwhile those that happen to know the right place to go and if it true the need to clean everywhere there so others will not contact it

If they die because they didn’t have something as basics as PPE ,you still won’t blame the government..Na ur own life good to live, others should die to protect you

Go and close the hospital na
Which equipment have you given gdh
Didnt you hear them saying here is not IDH
Make them take malaria drug fight coro?
And to shock you, it is malaria drug that a doctor has been using to treat corona virus patients in France. We are talking about chloroquine family drug... which is Hydroxychloroquine.

I knew this will be the case and there may be more deaths because the information about this treatment have met resistance from some section of the world, trying hard resist the news.

Lack of information will kill people regarding this disease.

You really need to think before commenting.
Have you thought of the implication of just sending them away?
1, The spread of the disease will be rapid.
2, The hospital's attitude is highly xenophobic. We have relatives other countries.
3, That was not the best professional attitude in referring patience.
4, What happened to isolation.
WE ARE NOT JUST READY TO TACKLE COVID-19, IF WE ENCOURAGE THIS WICKEDNESS BY DOCTORS AND NURSES, WE WILL SEE MORE.

The WORLD and its Inhabitants should Bow to our Maker..

Sodom and Gomorrah did not do up to us, and they were Wiped out!

Those in Noah Generation did not do up to us and they were also Wiped out!

This Earth is Certainly going to be Wiped out!

Let us Make Peace with GOD ALMIGHTY, Ask for Mercy and Accept His only Begotten Son, JESUS CHRIST..

That's the only way we can be Saved!

A word they say is Enough for the Wise!

My dear, don't blame them, if you are in their condition, you will likely do the same.. This thing is not easy, those working in the hospital are at risk more than those staying at home...
Everybody is at home cos of this virus, but health workers are still working.. With little or no hazard allowance

Maybe one day if I see you on the road shoulder as an accident victim. I (representing any other random Nigerian) would simply run away from the scene because I don't want the wahala that comes with Police questioning or the hospital that I would have taken you to demanding that I offset your bill before treatment. Ha such is Self preservation.
