I use an 07 ford edge, I noticed engine compartment always hotter than normal if I drive. Diagnosed with my scanner and no error message on engine except bad O2 sensors and temperature guage does not rise above normal .

Hi sir! I've been using visco 2000 and Abro ATF for my ford focus 2005 for sometime now. I've not noticed any issue. However, recently I noticed when I accelerate, the car sometimes jerk before it engages. What's your advice? Thank you sir.

Scan and tune up

definatetly the wrong ATF, it will kill your transmission. oil will wear you engine

Yes, engine bays are suppose to be hot, but that's not the concern here.
The gauge is already at specified operating temperature according to the stimulation.

THE CONCERN SAID : car interior/floor becomes hotter while driving. So it's abnormal irrespective of either engine bays hot or not.
It an anomaly that must be rectified.

I needn't say much about this fault, one of these two issues is responsible.

(1) Control back pressure of the combustion process of the engine.

(2) Insulation of the curtain area panel between the engine compartment and car interior.

Yes, it's a fault and abnormal just as I explained above.

It shouldn't be scary, work on your vehicle on the section I pinpointed above.

What if the brother had his heat on and it was good to the leg and torso, that will perfectly explain everything even if it was outside air.

Absolute NO ! , You are instantly wrong. the brother will not be too ignorant not to differentiate when interior heater vent is on compared to interior ambient, irrespective of upper windscreen, facial or leg vent.

Aside this, the incoming breeze from the vent valve, either low or high speed is enough justification.

Yes, Abro ATF is totally the wrong fluid for ford transmission, it will definitely damage the transmission transaxle.

The jerk you noticed while engaging is neither engine fault nor tune-up but transmission problem. It is the late operation of shift solenoid in the transmission after which the operating command had been sent to it from the PCM( brainbox). So meshing of engine/input driver's components and transmission output driven components were not synchronized, then will gradually wear the clutch disc fiber.

Cause is the Abro ATF. Drain completely and refill with Motorcraft mercon V, If you are fortunate, the problem will subside, if not, replace the transmission.
