==> Look at you! All your mates have married.

==> You are too lazy, is your mates that drive VENZA around.

==> If schooling isn't your thing again. Tell me I will set up a FARM for you.

==> And last last MAMA never ever call me by my name o. She said tradition demands that, as I am the first born of the family.
It's disgusting.

My mom never said anything bad to me, whenever I did something wrong she would just bless me, she believes that when a mother curses her son it will follow him

When I was having accommodation crisis, I couldn't pay for the house rent, she said I should bring all my loads back home, that she can afford to rent a one room for me at a very dirty area in my home town shocked shocked, I wept that time. I have forgiven her cry

I still remember the Day my mom said to me that It’s better my Father will his properties to my younger brother, instead of me. Just because I refused being strict with the tenants but my younger brother is mostly rude to them. The incident right in front of my friend and then I was 17years of age. That mentality made me understand my mom got my brother as his favorite and it got so obvious lately.

When I was young and unconverted,I was very hard and didn't love anything about God so each time she told me Jesus loves me and that I should repent..it was always painful cause as a child I thought I was always right doing the wrong things

When she sees me combing my hair or dressing up about to go out she'll tell Charleys don't go and impregnate someone's child.
Re: What's The Most Painful Thing Your Mother Ever Said To You? by overboard(m):
Ha!

She categorically told me in my cousin's presence that my eldest sibling (first son) and I (last) were not here children, that the second son was her only child.

It never really pained me; the woman could say it all and that my brother aligned with her perfectly, no questions. I on the other hand, kinda had a mind of my own and quite opinionated on some critical issues.

But she was the best mum still.

RIP R.O.O.!

1. You no go fit kill me lai lai because I no kill my own parents.

2. Useless shame of a pikin.

3. E better make person no get pikin dan to get one like you.

My mum was so harsh and iron-fisted that she even dealt with me until I broke a tooth. If to say na western world dem born me, na me for call police to arrest her for child abuse.

I was stubborn though as a kid, but nothing out of the ordinary for kids my age.

But you know what, all the beatings, swear words, comparisons with other kids et al, as much as they did scar me mentally and emotionally, I was still able to get a spurn from it all to propel me into proving everyone wrong. And boy, did I succeed?

Na me be the pikin wey shut everybody up with shock and how to be a family rock upon who everyone will eventually use as a springboard.

I know my mum did it all from a position of love (hard love). They often showed love how it was shown to them, na we come dey break the vicious cycle now.

I love my mum oh..
you're a smart man. I love this.

Mum sent me for an errand during Popsy's burial and I wanted to give her an excuse. Then, she quickly responded before all the people present "You know you have never been useful to me since I gave birth to you". I was shocked beyond words cause no guy in my family looks after her like I do.
I pray that memory leaves my mind.
