Lol.. Motivational speaker, he doesn't need to travel to understand living conditions of other human beings, thanks to the internet we have access to information at the tap of a button..

Be conscious! Someone who has access to intenet, information and who have been in some of those places you see on internet in person is here advising you.

End of discussion.
Not everyone rich as your dad or sponsor & can pay off these things.
Shift pls

I have read your posts on this thread and while I understand your pain regarding how the Nigerian system is, you need to take it easy as getting pissed up won't solve the problem or you direct your anger at Buhari and his cohorts.

Hmm, for Australia if you or your relative sponsor don't have a minimum of 20 Million naira just forget it.

You get approved for permanent residence from Nigeria and when you get to the airport you be get your permanent residence papers and a few years later become a citizen.
They are certain requirements to become a landed immigrant in Canada,USA,Austrailia etc:
-English test requirement-IELTS,TOEFL
-Educational qualification.e.g Bachelor,Masters
-Fall under a certain Occupation e.g They are looking for people in certain occupations e.g Accounant,IT Analyst,Engineer etc
-Financial requirement e.g have a minimum amount in your bank account or asset valued at minimum threshold.

Let me check my progress and how prepared I am o.
I have beng and rounding up my mba in unilag
Am an IT professional and reg Engr
Money never Dey like that( can bank statement be runs, like asking my community to put money, print out statement and send the money back to them)

Yet to do IELTs.

Someone once said that if u refuse to travel out of Nigeria before your late 30’s, you will blame yourself.

know if it's possible to send visa from there to Nigeria? you

Actually that’s not true.
Yes you can get by marrying a British citizenship but there are other routes too.
I got my percent residency after 10years and i didn’t marry anyone to do it.
They just need you to be truthful and submit the correct documentation that’s all.

My cousin that I travelled to the UK with in 2007 also got his ILR in 2017 through the 10 year residency route and did not have to marry anyone to get it.

If one can get a job in IT, healthcare, Engineering and even some business career paths, then the chances of getting a work permit are favourable which eventually leads to ILR are high..

Student Visa
The first step is to a get admission from a Canadian institution that is accredited. You application can still be rejected if you don't meet the rest of the requirements below:
-Present WAEC certificate
-Provide copy of TOEFL or IELTS
-Financial requirements - Show proof beyond reasonable doubt you have the financial resources to fund your education for the 1-4 year duration of your degree or diploma.
-Police certificate
-Birth certificate

Landed Immigrant
Has similar requirement to student visa, there is an additional work experience requirement There are certain job titles Canada is looking for in immigrants and there are listed from Skill level 0-B.

I think you should explore the landed immigrant option because your already a graduate and Masters degree is expensive. This is the cheaper option.

The process is pretty simply. Present all the documents they requested , and if you don't have the finances don't forge a bank statement, get a rich friend or relative to transfer money to your account, or get a bank staff to manipulate the number in your accounts, they will find out.

There is no secret to getting a Canadian student visa, it is a straight forward process. Australia has similar requirements to Canada.

You have other options like Germany, where the tuition is free and you just have to get admission and get the German visa. You get 18 months after you graduate to get a job, so you can file for permanent residency

You have Netherlands that offers cheaper tuition than Netherlands, where you have to pay the full tuition after you get admission and go for your visa interview. And get 12 months after you get graduate to get a job, before you can file for permanent residency.

If I decide to go through Landed immigrant, can I file for it on my own. Or I must work with an agent

For someone who intends doing masters in UK and targeting ILR alongside, can you please give advice on things to avoid that may hinder one from getting ILR and also things one can also do for a successful application.
I read that working more than 20 hours a week can be a hindrance.

Please can you throw more light. I intend following same path you took. Thanks.
-First off all when you start your masters try to take on roles such as student union, class rep etc as being a known face you are more likely to get your lecturers as references.
-Attend campus career days as these are where companies come to university to talk about themselves and jobs they offer. There is also a career adviser on every campus and you can book an appointment with them.

-There are also student jobs paid jobs but your hours are restricted by law as you need to study and also voluntary/unpaid jobs with charities, these count as work experience so when the companies come you are more likely to land a position as you’re cv would be “interesting”.

-Some companies have license to sponsor your visa and others cannot so research these companies that come to your campus.
-Remember after school you don’t qualify for an Iltr till 5 years so your next visa would be post study.
(light thrown enough for you?.)....Hope this helps.

Forget U.K. o. No matter how you try getting PR is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Brits are very selfish and conny. I have never heard or seen in person that studied in the U.K., and got PR eventually except they married a citizen or some sort.

Well as a Doctor working in the UK, you can easily get ILR (PR) in 5yrs and British passport after additional 1yr (ie 6yrs in all)...It's pretty straightforward for some highly skilled workers

Lol. There are lots I know of though.
Maybe 2 in every 10 people.
Infact the UK seems to be the only country in the world right now that makes it very easy for healthcare workers to practice. It's so easy that you can even get hired on from Naija.
So, i would say it highly depends on the Industry or career path you find yourself in.

Well for some healthcare workers it's a rigorous process that involves several exams and funding as well, after which the search for jobs which doesn't come that easy these days.
