They re d only club "willing" to buy him outrightly ,odas re seeking for "loans" wc Barcelona don't want to loan him but sell

Everton has emerged as a front-runner in the race to bring Philippe Coutinho back to England, capitalising on strong links between Merseyside and Catalonia.

The former Liverpool creative midfielder is not in Barcelona's future plans, failing to impress after his £130million move in January 2018, making just 76 appearances for the club before being cast out to Bayern Munich on loan.

Coutinho has shown flashes of his world-class ability in Germany, including a stunning performance in a 6-1 win over Werder Bremen.

He scored 3 of his 5 goals in the first 5 weeks and went on a barren run of 20 matches and Lampard persisted with him and scored before the break

I may not have an answer to your original question. But I do know that another fierce rivalry in England is Spurs and arsenal, Sol Campbell played for both. William Gallas and Seyi Adebayo also played for Spurs and Arsenal. Luis Figo did the unthinkable in Spain and left Barcelona to join R.Madrid.

Yeah North London rivalry is fierce but Merseyside rivalry is another level

Do you know you're not allowed to wear a red piece of clothing as an Everton player?

Honestly, this is not enough to make such an argument. Circumstantially, they were brewed differently. Perhaps if Mikel had played for a comparably lower team like Genk when he was learning the trade perhaps he would have more goals to his name. Just maybe. He featured for lyn 6 times before he moved to Chelsea. Just wait. Let's see how he fairs as he moves up to better teams. Only time will tell. Besides Mikel is way closer to his actual age than Ndidi. grin. Just a note.
AllforJesus7:
I read the arguement and debate about who the better player is between Mikel and Ndidi.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mikel Obi (2005 - present)
Age = 33
Total appearances = 455
Total goals = 11
Total assists = 18
Goal ratio = 0.02 goals per appearance
Assist ratio = 0.04 assists per appearance

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ndidi (2014 - present)
Age = 23
Total appearances = 213
Total goals = 15
Total assists = 10
Goal ratio = 0.07 goals per appearance
Assist ratio = 0.05 assists per appearance

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conclusion:
Ndidi at 23 is already a better player than Mikel.

Data assumptions:
Note the data gathered are club stats for both players right from the known beginning of their professional careers. All matches are club matches. No national team appearance/matches were used.
