You are here criticizing someone for not bending rules for your father's personal gain and for not doing exactly what people are condemning him for though he is also a corrupt individual. You want him to usurp merit and give your father admission based on his connection. Is that not corruption on its own? That is why Nigeria is caught in a corruption hole. I remember my dad sending me to a relative who was a well known professor of political science in Nigeria at the University of Ibadan. He even advised many sitting presidents. Of course my dad did not send me to him for the purpose of bending rules but to see how he could be of help and advise me on my admission. The prof during the meeting simply told me to go back and study again to prepare for JAMB the following year. I simply did as he advised. No hard feeling or complain. I was admitted into the same university the following year.

What happened in my case was that I beat JAMB cutoff mark and was on my way to be admitted but University of Ibadan used other criteria to screen me out and my spot went to someone else. My second attempt was stress free with no need to go see anybody. Merits first before anything else.

If you have been to JAMB Office, Bwari, FCT, between 2010 and 2012 ( I used to go there then on official university assignment), you would have seen how corrupt the staff were. From porter to committee secretary to chairman to director, everybody na runsman/woman. The place was like a market. Those guys were living large. Invigilators and accreditation teams nko? Abeg, make we no even go there.
I can't even remember if Ojerinde was the Registrar then but I know this guy chop money for NECO for several years before being appointed to JAMB.
