It is a very good car. Legendary Honda reliability.

Any mechanic that works Honda will work this without issues. Just see it as an upgraded Honda Accord of that generation.

very nice creature comforts too like USB compatibility, bluetooth streaming, memory driver seats , automatic climate control (dual) as standard.

Just ensure you perform comprehensive pre- purchase inspection ( including vin checks ) before you buy.

Good day sir, hope you are coping well with the lockdown situation we find ourselves in Nigeria? God will surely see us true and the infection will never come to our doorposts in Jesus name. Amen.

I just bought a Nigeria used Highlander 2004 v6 car. Whenever I make attempt to shift 5he gear from pack to drive it usually make grinding/shaking sensation and also when on drive atimes the gear slip or lose traction.
When I put it on my scanner it showed codes for heater sensor and crankshaft/crankshaft sensor pending.
Sir what can you say is wrong with car and possible solution to it. Thanks as I look forward to your reply.

Check the fluid for 1.If it's got the right transmission fluid. 2. If it's at the right level. 3. If it's smelling burnt. 4. If the transmission filter is clogged up with dirt. Correct the anomaly, and I'd advise you stop using the car till you've corrected it. Service the transmission, replace filters, then drive and give feedback. The car guru, you're too much, kudos for helping us with with solutions

it is a good car(particularly the 2006 model year, where most of the transmission problems have been addressed). Reliable too.

Ensure you use only Honda recommended fluids particularly for its power steering, rear differential and automatic transmission. If not expect early failure.

Resale value is quite poor compared to a 2006 RX330 or even a 2006 highlander

Good afternoon motor guru
Please I’ve been thinking of the type of car I should buy for a while now..considering I’m not getting a good pay in my current job so I need a car that can help with my movement around and also serve as a side hustle(UBER specifically) with minimal fuel consumption and low maintenance fee...I have Corolla 2005,2006 or Camry 2003, 2005, in mind though ..So I humbly require your advice on the type I should go for...my budget is between 800-1.5m

Assuming your engine is fine, check your radiator for a possible leak, check the radiator cover as well (as a starter you may change it). The radiator may also be blocked or clogged up, try to get it cleaned up.
I was once using a Yaris with temperature issue, changing the radiator solved the problem
