As you know family planning is an ideology of westerners, sunnah of prophet and quran doesn't support anything from westerners so tell me how would you seek for knowledge from this angle?

Ameen, may almighty God bless you as well. as in regards to family planning, to the best of my knowledge Islam encourages having children just like in christianity but it also stipulates its the man's responsibility to take care his family (wife and children) and definitely begging is not an option unless you have a valid reason.

Prophet Muhammad was reported saying it's better for a man to go in the forest to cut down woods and carry it on his back to market to sell to make money to cater for his family than to beg people for money.

if you ask me, I'll say the problem is that the north is not as Islamic as they are claiming. cutting poor people hand or flogging of the weak is north the Shariah law, but respecting the rule of law by every citizen is actually the shariah law. a southern state like Lagos actually practiced the Shariah law more than some so called Islamic northern states.

its just negligence in their responsibilities as muslims. this may sound strange but the solution to all this problem is actually withing islam in it self. some of this people are not just uneducated in western education but are definitely uneducated when it comes to Islamic doctrine.

Ugwuanyi need to sit up. Those people are already overwhelming Enugu town. Go to the new artisan market not far from Independence layout Enugu. They are all over the place with no housing. Their traders do not rent properties instead they make shanks and sleep rough. Their children and those transported from the north are all over the place littering and messing up the place.

Those relocated from Ph will find their way and disappear in Enugu. South East governors do not have the balls to make decisions bothering on security.

im really not going to say family planning is a western ideology, yes it's made popular by the west. the Chinese also have a one child policy and they not westerners.

Islam allow muslims to have any numbers of children they want as long as you can cater for them. Islamicaly some people can only have or should have one child while some people can have more its usually based on if you have the means and resources.

you definitely might be right and I might be wrong as well. also remember I never said outright 50/50, what I said was "Probably 50/50" meaning I'm not 100% sure. I'm just going by my very old experience in Lagos which is around 2 decades ago or more. Very good, am a Northener but i see no reason why someone will give birth to a child he won't cater for,that my brother is what is referred to as pure wickedness, this is the major problem of the North. I'm still praying to see the day I will wake up and see the news that Almajiri system is banned. It's total nonsense.
