I really think 4 is the one at fault .if u check the picture well,u will notice that 1 and 3 are in opposite direction to each other.therefore they are not overtaking at all and 2 is behind 1 which means he is on the right lane but 4 on the other hand is one trying to over take 2.
Is dat clear

Remember is the road is not one way oo. You can over take when the road is clear and safe.2 and 3 is not wrong.

Im really surprised that many people here could not spot the wrong driver. It is only number 3. He had poor judgement so overtaking at the wrong time. Others are not at fault

All I can see is two drunk drivers (2 & 3) trying to act Fast and Furious 13 in real life. When the coast is not clear, no matter how the line is(solid, liquid, and broken), DO NOT OVERTAKE!!!!

3 and 2 are at fault. 3 Is overtaking at a straight continous line! You only overtake at broken lines zones.
2 is overtaking at broken lines zones but the speed of overtaking is not enough to help him get accross safely. You must not delay during overtaking.

Correct.

The rule of thumb I always use is that the driver side must always be close to the middle of the road.

Since Naija is using left side drive, the number 2 and 3 are wrong.

Vehicles number three(3) is the one visibly at fault here.
Reason being that according to lane markings on that road,he is on the side of the road that has an unbroken white line (which mean overtaking is not allowed).
Such lane marking are specially placed at a road where overtaking is highly dangerous e.g dangerous bend,lane joining a roundabout etc.

Note
Vehicle number two (2) is also overtaking,but it is ok for him cos the lane marking is a broken white line (which means overtaking is allowed if one's exis/front is clear/ok)

Take UK for example, they keep left when driving, while we keep right. So one can’t tell who is wrongfully overtaking from just a picture, because one don’t know for sure what side of the road they should keep..

Both overtaking drivers are guilty.

It is not merely about right of way, an overtaking driver must that he has a reasonable space/distance from both forward lanes to avoid a collision.

From the position of the vehicles, there might possibly be two collisions...
