Mine was the day I lost my money to pick pockets while travelling
I was stranded and the worst part is that I don't know the direction of where I was going plus my battery became dead at the same time
Depressed,confused and shattered as I was lost in my thoughts
I felt a finger tapping me on my shoulder to behold a women in her early thirties muttering some words I couldn't comprehend what she was saying because hunger is already wiring me

Fast forward...she said she have been observing me and have noticed I had been crying
I explained my predicament to her
She felt pity for me and decided to help me,she gave me transportfare ,bought some snacks for me and gave me her little phone to manage
I was speechless and the whole thing felt like a dream
I thanked her immensely
I couldn't thank her enough
When I asked for her name she said its not necessary and left

I was amazed and thanked God for sending an angel in disguise to help me
Up till date I can't stop praying for this mysterious woman

Fella took me to his family house, got me a room. Fed me, got his siblings to get water for a bath for me and still escorted me to camp the next day.

I being from Christian from South South, Lagos bred being helped by a Muslim from Sokoto.

Based on this experience, there's absolutely nothing terrible you would tell me about northerners that would allow me prejudice them.

Yes am still surprised it was o nairaland here. 2 persons send some money into my account I couldn't believe it that day I was even on fast.
I fast without food n had no hope to eat during opening time but they help put food on my table.
I don't even know they physically

I was heavily pregnant when I went to a very big market in Aba to purchase goods, suddenly I became pressed, nowhere to ease myself. I ran to a woman in her shop and asked for help. This woman opened her shop, got a new bucket for me and asked me to pee inside. After everything, she poured izal and dettol into the bucket and washed it. I was so shocked and I can't forget what that woman did for me.

It's a lesson for me "always help people in need "

I served in nassarawa in akwanga.entered by 11.dont know any where.A muslim teacher took us to his house we were two.they got water we showered.that nite the wife cooked okoro soup for us.you. know av.hausa man no seat in palor we sat on floor and ate the sweet soup.after we laid on the floor. In the morning we ate yam porridge and oga took us to keffi park where we boarded akwanga bus.still gave us money.

After service i still went bk to say thank you.

Lol.. looking back, no one don help me bfr oo and crazily I don take many risks fr people wey no worth it...I don change my way since 2 years ago tho when someone I wrote exams for years back ,up to like 5 courses told me being too nice makes someone unecessarily wasteful wen I needed his help..at first ,I even thought he was joking, but he never came tru fr me
I also remember one time my roommate lied about financial problem at home and I paid for 2 years of our house rent fee only to find out later from another friend he actually got the money from home but used it fr a business that failed...gosh I don too mumu fr people

From there I discovered she had requested for my acct number on an entirely different thread. That's how I got credit alert that day to buy foodstuff.

Oh yes, I've mentioned this before in another thread. A total stranger helped with the capital for my business and business registrations. Also, I've gotten more than enough favours from strangers.

I need God to turn all my helpers to women... Every guy that has helped me in life always want something in return like wanting to date or marry me so I really do not take it as help. Help should be selfless.... I help people alot and I don't expect anything back from 'em...

I was helped on nairaland here..I wasn't expecting it..2 weeks back, I was having a kind of itchy or sore throat..I was perplexed and scared it should not be coronavirus.I was so broke, no money to eat, not to talk of getting treatment for it.the thing do disturb me most at midnight...one night I couldn't sleep, I came on nairaland and opened a thread on the health section, some nairalanders were commenting, trying to assure me its not corona virus then this kind hearted man mr aaking (God bless you more sir) just commented and requested for my account details..I was quite surprised..few hours later, I got a credit alert..the kind speed I take go withdraw the money eh..me wey hunger don sammer big time...I was so grateful that day, and I can never forget such gesture..

I was queueing for screening during on gaining admission ......like the line was long it was the year jamb cancelled post utme for most schools

I saw the line on arrival I just went back to my people's house next day I got there as early a 6 only to find people brushing thiere teeth there guy one guy just said he had been queueing on the wrong line he he wanted to change a error in his confirmation not collect that how he dragged me to the front I was the fifth they attended to that day.... never knew him never saw him

Funnny but wonderful

Mine was when I used my last card for transport to go withdraw outside the school, none of the Atm gallery in school was dispensing, so I had to go outside the school to withdraw, all my thought was,I will take my t.fare outta of the money I withdraw. On getting to the Atm, none of the machines despense, I was pained, helpless, one man also came to withdraw as well, I had to tell him none of the machines was working. He noticed me standing, asking me why I was standing all through, I told him how stranded I was, He dashed his hand into his pocket and handed me 1000 naira note, I was damn happy. that day, I cooked stew. My tfare was just 100.

So many good deeds have encountered

Wow.... I see nice deeds people have done, humans are really good and great but people's action changes us. Well, in all we do, let's be good, caring, appreciative and nice to people who needs it.
I don't really have any experience, but I'm grateful to God and everyone both the ones I can't remember for their good deeds. BTW never knew nairaland members are this good
