This might not really be a case of cheating girlfriend, it might be principle.
I don't keep any my chat either no matter what, Immediately after I text, chat or do anything related to chatting I will delete it almost immediately. My phone is always on silent too; it is a personal decision and I love it that way.
For your information I don't even have a girlfriend I have been doing it for way long and it's now parts of me

Boss you don't have any legit proof, I will advice you wait and see, probably she mistakenly delete the chat, if you think there's a possibility she might be doing something else, try and check other people chat with or better check her WhatsApp if you really want to be sure

This is the same girl December last year before proposing to her, I asked her if she has cheated on me before. To get the truth from her, I lied to her that I've cheated on her she also told me she has cheated on me. When I finally told her that I was lying about cheating on her that since we met I've never seen another girl she also told me that she was lying too about cheating on me.
