radautoworks:I think if anything, the article presents a glimmer of hope!! Comforting to say the least ![]() But the Nigerian e-hail should pickup earlier than expected. I would go with that sexielaasie on this. |

Biodunforu:Trying to sign in after completing two trips? Did you sign/log out? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 4:21pm On May 08, 2020 |
Biodunforu:Troubleshooting tips. Go to your bolt app. . navigate to the icons on the bottom of the screen, click s ettings. . scroll down, if you are logged on, you will see the " log-out "button @ the bottom of the settings page. If yes, it means you are logged on. If you don't see " log-out" , that means you are out n you need to sign in. * if you do this n it still persist. * switch off phone and restart again. Goodluck! |

Just uploaded my renewed license on the uber app and they still havent responded or sent a message back since 11am. I get the fact that corona virus has affected the world and all but I thought people were supposed to work from home? Havent been out this whole week cos of license and enu don gbe finish makes we wonder, A driver can go online and receive requests but cant get any help in a short time from the app in terms of any issues that arise. Takes me back to my former thoughts, these guys dont care about any driver on their platform and that's a fact, they set the rules and if you break em they yank you off the app without remorse but when certain issues arise they just simply dont give a rats ass. |

Parlee:Before nko. The only way dey could sit up was if anoda competitor came in. But right now, Opay DT I thot wz going to give them a run for their money has gone kaput. Sometimes I wonder, you mean there is no local investor in Lagos that can also run an ehailng outfit. Nawa o. ![]() |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 6:45pm On May 08, 2020 |
northbird:The business is highly capital intensive and can only break even when you spread your tent to several countries, not forgetting that fact that Government of any country u spread your tent to is a horizontal and vertical competitor and can influence transportation policies to their own gain. |

Vision2045:Bro. I don't agree wt you on not breaking even. In Lagos @ 15% you would do more than break even. Opay dt bought bikes wt deir own funds ( @ least market value @ 400,000 naira per bike) , bought helmets, suits , phones n co. were cashing out. A huge sinking fund. What did Bolt bring? ....Nada Car - you brought it. Inspection- you paid for it Training- You paid for it. Then you tell me , @ 20% you won't break even. MBa. I don't agree. Thing is the more cars you can have on your platform, the easier it is to spread your operational costs. |

northbird:Boss you seem not to understand the foundation of what led to my comment...he said can't a Nigeria float a ehailing company and that prompted my response... If u limit the service to just nigeria sir, one can't break even...knowing very well that only few states in the country can afford such business for now.. The running cost for the app is huge, coupled with Tax and other levies, and then back office salaries and other form of adverts and endorsement.. I stand to be corrected |

Vision2045:It always seems impossible until someone cracks it. When Uber first came on board, they were feeling lyk dey were d best thing that ever happened since slice bread. Then Taxify entered n changed d narrative. So, when the next entrant comes., it won't really surprise me. Saying @ 20% a new firm won't break even. Remember during d advent of GSM. n mtn brought BOGOF n dey were charging per min. Meaning even if you called for 35 secs, you will b billed on a per min/ template. The day Glo launched, they started wt per second billing . The following day MTN took a backtrack n started billing its customers on a per second basis too. . So... it can b done... |

knytred:We already stated on this forum that weekend earnings would be worst hit. It's been very dull since Thursday. I think this still has to do with the uncertainty of the times, business activities haven't peaked and those opened are really cautious. There isn't any room for unnecessary spending and moving around. I had a rider who said she hadn't seen outside her street gate since Mar 18th |

2 hours after leaving my house I still havent gotten 1 request. I dont know if I should leave where I parked again to somewhere else or just stay there cos I been to different areas and didnt get any request before eventually parking somewhere. The business isnt worth it this period from the look of things. |

Parlee:Every where is dull oga, u go just dey burn fuel for nothing. Nobody is going out and most who have to would rather drive since the roads are free. It's all down to luck this period. If you go around yaba- Herbert Macaulay,Yaba tech, somolu areas, you go get request due to high covid-19 activities around there, also I think the island is slightly better than mainland. |
