It's still early days bro!! Things will pickup slowly. I haven't grossed 30k since Monday and already spent 7k on fuel.

Today was totally poor with only 3 trips and roads are very free.Though I have only been on the mainland.

I am tempted to get my interstates on the road but I just don't want to till all clear.

let's see how things go till Monday.
Boss don't be tempted on interstate journey right now unless you've a military personal that will escort your to and fro.

You just advised sb up there not to park inside a hotel again to avoid arrest. I also read in some pages back where sb advised drivers not to driver any time beyond the lockdown hour because a uber driver was arrested and detailed. So I believe you dont want to practise what you preach. So please don't even risk it, even the military personals are even scared of losing their jobs and the money they're requesting for escort at this very time is on the high side compare to b4.

And I don't see any different going forward until a vaccine is widely accepted. And from the last report I heard Trump said it's gonna be till the year end before they're sure to get a vaccine.

The hard pile to swallow is all businesses will be crumpled till we see the end of this virus
. Reason being that all countries will keep their international airport and borders shortdown so as not to allow anyone bring in the virus since no country has the facility or capacity to quarantine visitors, migrants, tourist or business men and women coming in daily into their country.

Business generally is world wide depended. Dubai for instance dont have any new case so they've lifted their lockdown but their bordered are closed. Even at that their economy will still suffer because nobody is neither coming nor going out.

So until the world finds a vaccine to this virus I'm afraid all businesses will be crippled for a long while. And the longer it goes the harder it will become because most organizations that where able to pay workers last month will not be able to sustain it in the coming months, why because, according to Nitigrity " no work done".
And when people don't have enough money for their basic needs how then do you think they'll be able to afford booking a bolt or uber ride?

So for those of you planning on going into this line of business I will simply advise you just pause it right. The beat business to go into now is food commodities or agricultural related business.

To before warn is to before arm.

I have paid the debt and I have send them an email indicating my reference number and I also attach the payment slip I download from my bank statement. I have made the payment since yesterday but up till now no response from them
You had better keep calling them till your balance is adjusted on your app or else it will be growing every single day.

There should be some sorts of palliative from Taxify for their employee inform of debt relief, that would make sense alot. I didn't work for almost 2 months due to corona and am owing 15k in debt and card trip is not fort coming, where do they expect me to get money to pay them.
Debt relief kwa! I laugh in taxify voice...ordinary 3k! No b hi. Uche dey drag one of us here sotey d guy provoke send thunder to kill all of them?

Ur own is 15k, me I'm owning them 12k+ and I know like 2guys owning them 20k each. They wont even think of a debt relief, how?! You want them to go bankrupt?

The best I expect of all ehailing coy to do in this trying time is to reduce their commission charges for their drivers then do promo for riders so as go encourage people to take taxi rather than spread or expose themselves to the virus by using public transport.

How will it grow up when he's not even having any cash trip. Or am I missing something here.
Has bolt started adding interest to unpaid commission?

grin Very funny. Commission reduction and Promo is a good idea. But I don't think debt relief will make them go bankrupt. They have the financial muscle to take care of that. No be dem dey pay us weekend and daily bonuses back then. Besides not all drivers are owing them.

Last year I was owing close to 10k and I was still getting cash trips. I sharply paid my outstanding and sent them an email with my teller and reference number written on top. For more than 3 weeks my mail wasnt attended to, my Balance was not adjusted and grew to 20 something thousand. I called Bolt to complain bitterly about it, they adjusted it immediately and the current balance reflected on my app. If I had not call sorry would have been my case smiley.

God no go shame us

With the way things are right now with e hailing, nah weekend go worse pass.

Weekend doesn't look promising at all this period.

I have done a little below 30k Monday to Thursday with 7 k fuel so far, I want to hazard a guess that I can gross 50k by Sunday COB with 11k fuel.

It is gonna be very tough but......

What's the difference? You can choose whether to work 'with' them or not and they can also do the same thing. When they feel they can't work with you because of a number of reasons, they block you abi na because you feel say you sef no fit block them?

Don't forget Bolt is not only paying staff, they also pay for the services of the " app". This has to b deducted from what you are owing them.

Have you noticed that weekend n daily bonuses stopped around d tym DT LASG put a squeeze on them before the corona shyt.

Based on say LASG wants a certain % of their profits. Dem still dey argue DT one sha.

So Bolt too needs all the funds hanging

Bury the thought of getting such help here.

I dont think anyone is naive here to give his app to a third party to use knowing the danger involved.

Just keep sending mails. You are not the only person whose account has been suspended.

The consequences of impersonation is costly.

Worst-case, you miss 3-4 days of earnings compared to total loss of account.

Some criticism lack logic. Well, in my view .
Chief, they didn't compel anybody to drive on their platform at a time such as this. If not for the dire unemployment and economic situation, people should stay put in their house.

I get your point...but if they are not ready to open the support channels for their partner...why then open the riders platform...

Let's imagine a rider have a card issue and u call and send message and no response...

That's Negligence bro

So it not the issue of whether they compel you to drive or not...if you open your app to link riders and drivers then the necessary back up support should be readily available

It is writings such as this that makes me know someone is educated,
From utterances such as this, this are the kind of people that suppose to govern our country and be put in charge of helms of affairs.
I don't use Uber, or bolt or taxify I don't even know what it looks like but this is the kind of people that suppose to pilot the rudder of the country.
But alas we have stack illiterates , educated illiterates and uneducated literates ruling us especially those special advisers and spokemen who do not understand the for putting an leaving system in place.
I weep for Nigeria.
I am not sure we can have another fine example like Dora Akinyuli,
You can imagine the impact someone like the responder will have in his domain of operations if given chance.
Sir, I am not praising you. I am not a sychophant , I am only speaking based on the way a properly educated person should reason which was based from your response.
I don't know u from Adam and I don't need to.
But I know this kind of persons can never ask it's citizen to initiate lockdown and never provide them with substantial pallative or can you?
