21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

(John:21-24)

The true God is not confined to the four walls of the church.

It looks like many of the pastors are afraid of losing relevance or going broke and therefore calling for people to congregate in church even when they know it is not safe. Didn't God tell Noah to stay in the ark until the flood was over?

Damn! Lol
I don't rate any of them. Church business, as it is, is bigger than any drug cartel and this period has acutally helped in revealing these guys. On social media, they have started behaving like typical social media influencers who periodically give to keep or grow their followers.

This is so shallow.... Even with the scripture references, you still chose to ignore the wisdom up there. What a shame!!!

Wake up and start maximizing your reasoning, God gave you a brain for a reason.

If God needed the Church to meet urgently amidst this pandemic, He would have made a way for that to happen without them getting into conflict with the rulers of the land... Jesus Christ was a prime example of this very point.

How many church buildings did Apostles Peter and Paul build?

Atleast, they wrote over 75% of the new testament. The church in Ephisus, was it a physical building during the days of the great persecution?

Also, juxtapose your assertion with the Biblical elucidations that " the kingdom of God is within thee". Luke 17:20-21, particularly at verse 21.

Also, the old church shared everything in common and non lacked. Even those who had benefited from the good will of others but wanted to be greedy with theirs, met fatal punishment. How well has our modern church copied such precedent? Acts 4: 30-End; Acts 5.

During this period of Covid-19, how well is the church resources being shared amongst members of the church and by extension, members of the public as a tool of evangelism?

Jesus fed the congregation because He knew the importance of food to the body(biological feeding), and salvation to the soul( spiritual feeding).

How well has our church emulated this biblical precedent during COVID-19. Is this not the best time to win souls to the kingdom via the apt deployment of both mechanism?

Jesus and Apostle Peter were both leaders of the Church, both yet they knew they were trustees of the church, thus, gave good account of stewardship and didn't owe much personal property. Acts 4:32-End

Even Jesus lead by example by borrowing the a colt He used for triumphant entry. He could afford to buy one of the very best, and his actions will be justified because it is for the propagation of the gospel , but instead borrowed one. Mark 11:3.

***Take notice that this is a lame excuse being used by our religious leaders in an attempt to justify the luxurious lifestyle and the acquisition of aircrafts and phantom automobiles. But that is a discourse for another day.

From Apostle Peter's encounter with the man at the beautiful gate, it is apt to conclude that He didn't control the church resources even as a leader and pastor of the first church. He thus gave freely that which he had which was his anointing and heal the man of his infirmity. Can same be said for modern-day pastors and spiritual leaders? What changed?

Finally, lockdown has been lifted in some parts of the western world such as Italy where the church began, but the physical place of congregation is still under lockdown. Most of these pastors have church branches within such domicile, why are they not condemning the govt of such state as they do Nigeria?

Kindly educate my ignorance.

I want you guys to know there is more to this virus than meet the eye.

These virus is never a death sentence...
There is a cure for it but they are hiding it while acting like they are seriously still in search for it. Else they would have taken Madagascar's cure more serious.

These virus is beyond the economy, not because it's kills more than ebola, there are strong agents that targets humans to add something terrible before the coming of antichrist.

Churches would have been easily directed to keep social distance more than market places, banks and many more as they have ushers who can co-ordinate it easily but they know Christians and Muslims will become weak in prayers when they are no longer gathering to ease the control of their diabolic activities.

I don't want to know what they are saying but I am sure the agents will surely come as an angel to enter the hearts of we humans. Beware of Bill Gate. It is not normal to give condition for vaccine.

Beware because there is more to this story. If herbs can cure this mild sickness, how much more drugs. Be watchful and prayerful. This is nothing but the preparation for the incoming Satan . I believe this sickness is also linked with 5G which, while developing the vaccine, they will insert something into humans to trace them when the trumpet sounds.

I don't care if you doubt, just beware, watchful and prayerful.

There is no sign worst than this. Well crafted by their agents. You know the children of this world are wiser than that of God. Don't be deceived cause after posting this, some people will counter it.

He is not wrong...The problem we are facing is because people have built and tied their Christian faith around the four walls of the church. How can physical building damage spiritual growth. It is because we are not rooted in God as we ought to.

Truly, there might be some setbacks and heavy discouragements from the closure of churches especially for young converts; however, let us get it straight and understand the mind of God at this time.

Going forward you won't all wait to have a congregational service before you fellowship with God and brethren on the street. Let's be humble enough to discern the truth.

Like 17:20-21 The Bible says, " the kingdom of God is within you"

This is not about buildings it's about the fact that The church is a gathering. And its ordained to gather

Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

1 Corinthians 5:4
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Then all these pastors should pray to God to remove this plague. In a situation like this where you cannot gather because of being infected, dont you think, it can amount to ignorance if people started falling sick to the disease because of disobedience to constituted authority?

you stand with oyedepo so in summary religious centres should be open it doesn't really matter how many people die or get infected with the virus, the way some people reason these days without critical or logical thinking if churches should be opened that means everything else should be opened then no need for lockdown or social distancing.

Any venue of d convergence of Christians is called church @ dat moment regardless of d physical structure or d name is being called. Church could be an or a open place (outdoor) or a close (indoor) place.
More importantly, we should not forsake d gathering of d brethren.
