Just confirmed from a relative that works with NAHCO, that they were paid 50% for April 2020.

I think we should prepare for a reduction in our dividends from NAHCO
Expect a pleasant surprise if you own this stock.

Oga calm down, it's irresponsible of management in my own opinion to slash workers salary this period except u r a govt employee.....I have no sympathy for govt staffs
But NAHCO did not make any revenue in 2 months and this might continue for another 8 weeks or more, where do you expect the business to get money to pay the workers.

NAHCO tried, most companies in the Aviation sector told their workers to proceed on leave without pay. Arik paid 20% in April and sacked 80% of the workers at the end of April. They might be recalled when the aviation business bounces back.

We are in a difficult situation, unfortunately we are all in this together.

NAHCO had at least 2 flights each week to the United Kingdom all through the period of the lockdown.

Can we expect GTB to touch 25 before going down. Bought at 28.50 and has been averaging down. Just at -0.02 now. But I need direction on when to sell before it hits back again. Can't forgive myself if it goes back to -15% loss.
Oga Rabbi, please help!!!

NAHCO handles luggages and cargo, whenever we have issues in the Aviation sector it will affect the business of NAHCO and Sahcol.

Sir, this is why I love France and we must find a way to bring back unionism, @ least to a minimum, we all know that when the going is good, it's usually very Good for corporate management as wages are usually fixed cost, it never moves in tandem with productive output........but @ the first sight of hardship, all what management think of is how to slash workers salary, Is slashing workers salary the only way to save cost......................

Thanks sis. I finally got this from playstore. It can be used for determining average up and average down. Newbies can download one or both apps. Just type stock average calculator on playstore.
Mcy56:
You're welcome.
Try and apply the % and come up with the units needed to average down using the prices.
Check that out for fxuser too.

That stock has a little over 7 million units in the net buy direction as at close of trading last Friday (May 15). Averaging about 5 million units per week, it is almost impossible for this net buy volume to be neutralized this week. With the excess buy, I expect a further increase in price which would end up making the VAP take out the year open.

The Volume Adjusted Price is about closing above this year 2020 open.

The current closing price since last two weeks (2.44) is also above the year open of 2.40

These are very bullish indicators for this stock.

I pray you have your business, say Amen to the prayers.

You will have up to 100 people working in your company and you will understand what it means to manage resources, men, materials and money

They practice socialism in France, can you tell me any major French business in Nigeria that created wealth for the shareholders, from Scoa, CFAO, Peugeot, even Lafarge.

Lafarge has been in Nigeria for over 60 years, they not defend their position until a Nigerian owned business push then away struggling for 20% of the market share in the cement.

There nothing enterprisingly inspiring about French owned businesses, maybe for the exception of Total

Thanks boss. This is exactly what comes to mind. The approach of our indigenous companies to the Covid situation is very unfair. Really unfortunate. Atleast these firms should be able to guarantee full salaries for one or two months before taking such decision. This is Tue time to also give back to their employees too.

True!
Right entry, patience and understanding how some stocks work is also key.
Some good stocks just have their unique means of having their ways. Stanbic, Unilever are just one of these stocks.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by meshpips(m): 1:35pm On May 19, 2020
Let's go back and observe what happened to NAHCO last week.

Every single day of the week, we first saw price dip only to close each day at 2.44

Every single day of last week had a lower wick.

@rabbidoracle lower wicks are indicative of buying pressure abi?

Just a little while and that stock can take off!
