Some Muslims have been posting comments saying Ravi Zacharias has been punished by Allah. Some are drawing attention to the death of Nabeel Qureshi and even suggesting that the deaths should serve as a warning to David Wood. But have Muslims forgotten about how their prophet died?

In as much as i don't want to be a comparer of death. Ravi is meeting reality where he is and that is the result of his life time earnings on earth!

It should be a reminder that no matter how passionately you defend your religion, you ultimately are believing in things that have no basis in reality. You remain subject to all the vagaries of life and there is no divine umbrella shielding you from them.

Love triumphs over hate.

 The Christian world has lost a great icon, a great  man, a Chrstian  apologist,  Ravi Zacharias, who went to be with Jesus yesterday, May 19, 2020.

In a tribute to him, Vice President Mike Pence of USA repeated the words of David “don’t you know that a great man has fallen in Israel today?”
My heart bleeds sore!

He was a great apologist and Christian philosopher, who presented the gospel to the high and mighty as high as the United Nations and in some of the most hostile Islamic settings and  in many campuses around the world as well as in war torn countries! He had  trained  many Christian apologists and philosophers who are spread all over the world.

A man who presented the gospel with grace and clarity!
He is with Jesus now!
I thank God for the sharp young men and women he trained who are doing the work!
Dear Ravi is with Jesus whom he loved!
We shall surely see him again! Let us be challenged to make our lives count for the Lord no matter where we are.

I can and will because the existence of a so called first cause is still entirely speculative and has no practical application.

You spoke of Anthony Flew, he essentially became a deist. I am unconvinced by deist views because the god they posit does nothing so it is essentially no different from a god that doesn't exist.

Even if you manage to succeed in convincing me that such a first cause exists, you are still left with showing me how you know what it wants or demands from me. In the event you cannot then the question becomes why should I care?

if your lack of belief was induced by religion and its vagaries. I'll understand. But it is ingrained in every man to want to reverence a higher being.. One of my professors is a acclaimed atheist yet he pours libations and prays to Odin the one eyed god. (he is a seadog) how do you explain that?
