Few days ago, I made an online transfer to Ecobank from Zenith. I informed the receipt that transfer completed, after 24hrs I started receiving insult through WhatsApp as a result of the bank not crediting her evobank account.

After all the insult, she asked my why am not saying anything, I told her there is nothing to say until she confirm the transfer because anything I say will be considered a lie.

After 48hrs, I woke up with am sorry for doubting you, I received the transfer today. I have to forgive because it was the banks fault.

Some banks are not worth banking with, sincerely I have not experienced same from zenith.

i just hope this lady u were transfering money to was a business associate and not some chick who was begging u for chop money and u now sent her some chop money out of the kindness of ur heart

But most times, if you don't get to the bank, you wouldn't know. My brother has sent money sometimes ago and despite checking my account balance through mobile, the money wasn't there and he had already received a debit alert. It took days for the money to reflect in my account. Now, imagine if he wasn't my brother.

Banks in Naija are just something else entirely, they would disappoint you.

A bank transfer reverse is like bounced check it did not pay the recipient.
