Don’t get it twisted, this isn’t another female bashing thread! Mine was pretty brutal.... it goes like this; I never thought jet lag was an actual thing until sometime last year I came back from a really long flight, landed mid night, crashed at the airport till the next morning. I was super exhausted and wasn’t just myself. She came visiting thesame day. I was fast asleep and she let her self in. TBH I wasn’t really paying attention to what she was saying... was just responding with the usual one word answers. At some point I said, can you just let me chill? Pls, I haven’t unpacked my luggage yet...so you can pick what u want. She went into the bathroom for a while, like a really long while. Came back and shook me hard till I was full awake, and the weirdest conversation ensued.... Her: do u really have plans to marry me? Me: stares blankly Her: it’s a simple question...yes....no....or maybe. Me: tired AF, can we discuss later pls? Her: it already October what’s your plan atleast for next year... Me: blank (again) Her: i don’t think we are working out... Me: I mumbled some stuff, then said suite yourself. That was it.... She ghosted me for like a month. Believe me I tried reaching out... She actually got married in December (story for another day) I really liked her though, but the question was all of a sudden, plus we were into the second year of dating... So amigos- grow some balls and tell pple you’re abt to break up with the real reason… Thinking abt that now and I thought to share, share your experience I will be in the comments... 7 Likes |

Having spent 3 years at home without admission, I later gained admission (pre degree). After 6 months, my gf then called me to announce that she's no longer interested in the relationship because I've literally gained admission and I'll most likely find another girl. Had issues with my boss, so i block her line after sending her sms that i will call her tomorrow, but i didn't call her only for her to call me the next day and start to dey para for me, saying i dont value her yen yen yen, we never break up sha but at the brink of it. I was about to begin school in the uni when I discovered she actually looked younger than her age... babe was 4years older than me(I am not an advocate of old babes)and to think that she told me she would wait for me to finish school and get married to her, I never touched her nor kissed(was still a virgin and I don't know whether it's fear or my self righteousness even though she asked if am okay down there at a point) so as I do my maths finish, I realise say 5yrs in the uni plus another 4 years outside hustling on one or two, this girl will be over 35, I just call her straight in the evening tell her my reason cus I felt that's just the best way... make I own up come forward now. it was a nasty scene, she cry sote I come feel like say I should just accept her back , but nooo .. my inner mind still tender the maths infront of me, e pain me Sha, but it was for the best. thank God, she is married now with a son and most importantly, no hard feelings for me, we talk cool. I was traveling in the night, December 2019. I remembered she told me to call her once I set off.. I called her 3 times, she didn't pick. In the morning, she called me saying I shouldn't be calling her in the night. I was like, bae. I was on a journey and I wanted to let you know. Na so she drop the call on me.
