Trusting a Nigerian now is suicidal, an average Nigerian has total disregard for the next person. Nigerians will commit crime and when not caught will call it smartness. Dude you're a criminal, nothing smart about about that, inventing something not seen before is smartness not taking advantage of someone trust in you. 24 Likes 1 Share |

I advise people to set up an escrow account and to engage the building company directly. That way, you save yourself. 1 Like |

Lol... Even you in one end of Nigeria to another end, people still scam you... We have a few godly people in this country Like it's said, "if you want something done right, do it yourself... Or use you direct son or daughter"... Applicable to businesses too... Nigerians are too wicked 2 Likes |

In law's can scam!! Worst thing is most times you'll have to let them off the hook because of marriage relationships. To be safe, don't do business with in laws. 6 Likes |

mufutau55: One can still be scammed with pictures evidence. Cos the person may go to an ongoing project to take the picture or even do Photoshop. Timely visit, or engaging a company and external supervisor like family or friend is the solution cos both parties are from different background hence fraudulent collaboration will not be easy. 1 Like |

This the plague that has infected this part of the globe responsible for all kind of problems in Nigeria. The act of using in-laws, relations, girlfriends, godfathers, etc to substitute for qualified persons. It is her type that would come to Nigeria assume one government position and start sharing contracts to her relatives. Serves her right, let her go ahead and prosecute the in-law, nonsense absolutely. 2 Likes 1 Share |

She is lucky she got something done on her space. I had a bitter experience and after much spending, nothing to show for it. The dude I call a mistake rather than my uncle claimed he was swindled. Nice post though, hope people learn from it. Josnac: 7 Likes |

Unless u are out of the country illegally and hiding, nothing stops you from going home. I will engage an outsider cum professional to build my house for me. These days there is internet everywhere, I can face chat with everybody working there if I want to follow the progress of the house and show face unannounced, leave unannounced too. We blame politicians everyday as if they are not the same Nigerians. U will know the real character of a Nigerian when he is handled money to execute a project or he sees avenue to make quick bucks. We holy pass now. 19 Likes |
