Thanks brother , I really appreciate
Monmarri:

Kindly see response above in black.

My advice instead of applying for two years visa to visit to uk, and wasting visa fees of two years and plane fare, Why not use all these money and apply for spouse visa, or Fiancé visa or even marriage visa. All these are good but, spouse visa is the best but, y fiancé have to come down to Nigeria for the registry if u decide to go through spouse visa route. U are given 2.5 years for spouse visa.

For fiance visa U get six months visa and get to UK and do registry and before the six months ends u apply for spouse visa which u will get 2.5 years. But you will spend more money.

U can also apply for marriage visa, come to UK and get married and go bk to Nigeria and apply for spouse visa

If your fiancé is able to come to Nigeria, u get married and apply for spouse visa.

The advantage of spouse visa is that u get 2.5 years and as soon as u get to UK, u can work immediately after u get y national insurance number. Then with spouse visa u pay your IHS ( immigration health surcharge) doing y visa process, which gives you access to medical for 2.5 years. But, when u apply for fiancé visa, u spent more money, for the visa u can't work with it and can't access medical for free, u will have to pay for it on each medical treatment. compared to when u pay all for spouse visa for 2.5 years

The requirements for spouse visa and fiancé visa is the same. Expect that fiancé visa does not require marriage certificate for visa process and no payment of IHS.
√Naric certificate: for test of English
√Tubaclois test done in Nigeria at the UK accredited clinic
√Means of communication either WhatsApp, email and Facebook
√Photos of marriage registry and photo taken together
√Marriage certificate and IHS payment ( for spouse visa)
√ your fiance must be working and earning £18,600 per year
√ six months payslips from fiancé
√six months SOA
√ Accommodation that will be ok for u and hubby and a letter from landlord that he is ok for two of you staying in his house

Why don't you try the Tier 1 route

[ quote author=ghost3040 post=89947971]Hello everyone.
I'm new to this thread and the whole immigration stuff, but I'm desperately on my toes to migrate.

BACKGROUND:
Bsc Accounting, ACA, ACCA, MBA(in professional accounting) from London Business School using my ACCA pathway.

So I'm considering taking this CIMA route since I stumbled on this thread.

QUESTIONS:

1. What are my chances(points) claimable considering my current qualifications.(Note; I claimed exemptions on my ACCA using my ACA, so I wrote four(4) papers...Strategic professional level.

2. Is my MBA valid?? Since its through ACCA gateway.

3. Is there an MRA for conversion of ACCA to CPA?

4. I've seen comments on writing just ba1 to ba4 in CIMA, but from the course content, there are 16 papers..please I need clarification on this.

5. What's the cost like (rough estimate) to complete everything on CIMA (All things being equal)..

Thanks[/quote]

Good evening everyone
I'd be processing my Visa application very soon.
My issue of concern is this:
On my birth certificate, the names there are 'Abu Yunus Mohammed Kabir'
On my national passport and every of my other documents, I'm only using the first 3 names; ' Abu Yunus Mohammed'. The surname, first name and other name corresponds just that the fourth name is only present in the birth certificate and no where else. Is this a problem at all for the UK Visa application and even for future applications and interviews?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by FYsol: 12:02am On May 29, 2020
Ditch the birth certificate and get yourself sworn affidavit. Save yourself the headache and trouble of having to explain.

@Fysol is totally right. Do a sworn affidavit, my advice. And beside you don't really need a birth certificate. Not a relevant requirement in visiting visa but, if you wish to put it do a sworn affidavit.

Goodday wonderful people of this forum, i need your advise over a concern that is really stressing me mentally, my wife is a doctor, just got her full GMC registration and license to practice in the UK, we have been married for 6 years and we have a 5 year old son who is a U.S citizen. We are about to apply as a family under Tier 2 for her to resume work in the NHS, However, i was denied in 2013 a visitor's visa to the UK and it was denied under 3207a which is a category for deception. I couldn't challenge it then, however moving forward, my circumstances has changed, and i have a family now and also changed my job from the one i had when i was denied seven years ago. The issue now is that as a family unit, will my past denial with deception alter my chances to move together with my family? N:B this denial was seven years ago, it was a visitor's visa, was single then, My wife is the principal applicant now and she feels that we will be fine because am her dependent with my son, Some people have said different things that it is technically a ban, but on the refusal letter it was not stated so, i need clarity, what are my chances??
Thanks in advance good people!!!

Please I need advice. I am applying for a student visa for September Start and I want to apply very early. Please if I apply in July for the Standard package, does anyone have an idea when my passport will be ready for collection. A friend is saying that within 15 working days my passport will be ready for collection. Is this true?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by mimilyrics: 1:06pm On May 29, 2020
Your friend is right but it doesn't happen like that in all cases, it could stretch beyond that in some cases especially if the application isn't straightforward. No one knows what the realistic timescales will be when VACs/UKVI starts accepting applications due to several reasons.
You can check the tier 4 thread for more info:

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Enick: 8:49am On May 30, 2020
I doubt if having a baby in the UK automatically makes that child a UK citizen. It is a very long process to citizenship.

You get invite from one of them, utility bills, statement of account , mortgage, printout of their passport data page, Etc. then from your end, marriage certificate, pictures, account statement for 6months , documents to show u employed or doing business, land papers etc. Anything that will convince the Eco that u guys will return back to Nigeria... They are more dou depends on the route u following ie self employed or employled... Read through some pages down you get a clearer view. The seniors will throw more light.
But having a baby in the UK no citizenship attached to it oo

Note these:-
√ The cost of giving birth in the UK is very expensive
√ The child will not be a citizen, only UK birth certificate the child will have.
✓ your wife need proof to show at the POE, because she might be unlucky to meet an immigration officer that will ask her lot of questions on her medical bills and proof of doctor's report. UK doesn't want visitors to access NHS for free.
√Your wife need to be registered at a GP to get NHS number, you will go through the process and dis days some GP request for your status in the UK, If it is visiting visa u will be billed.
√ If your wife travel with heavy pregnancy, she might not be allowed to fly, so know the best time she need to travel.

If your pocket is very rich and you have all the requirements for visiting visit as some one has stated some of the requirements, there is no confusion at all in these but just note the above I stated. Moreso getting invitation letter from some one who lives legally and work in the UK is very easy provided the person is ready to give you all the relevant requirements. All the best

Good evening everyone one.
I and my 2 children have 6 months visiting visa
for the UK from December to June, 2020. We were supposed to have traveled in December last year but we changed our mind because of expensive flight ticket. However, we bought our ticket for May but we couldn't because of the ban on International flights.
I want to ask if the duration of our visa can be extended?

I beg to differ but I think that information on that website has to do with those already in the UK. Not those with visas yet to enter. Let me know if I’m wrong. Cause the information there says something different.

You are right, I checked also and it clearly applies to people already in UK with expired visas unable to travel back to their destinations. However the OP can send an email to the email address stated in the post. You will get an acknowledgment but trust it takes time. I think its advisable to send an email.

Simply send an email to forward your travel within one month of your deadline as stated in your visa. However, note that short term travel holiday does not worth it as you have to be quarantined for 14 days. So it is better not to travel at all.

If you are in the UK, fill the form to extend your stay within July 31st. That is what hosey write up is about.
