Thousands have done it in the past my dear and the women later became their wives!
That's what God's word says, so who will be the judge to punish a man in behalf of whom his wife (the victim) now intercedes fervently for blessings from God? undecided

You're looking at the matter from one side blurring your senses to the other side!

Let it rest.

I may have committed the same offense in the past, but right now i'm mimicking the very words of Jesus of Nazareth.

Whoever rejects his words will never see God's Kingdom John 3:16-18

Just pray that it doesn't happen to you, because according to Jesus you must let go if you want God to let go of your own sins as well! Matthew 6:12-15

So prepare your mind now because even if you refuse to let go and the rapist is punished, you must go back to beg on your knees before the culprit all what you did to him during the trial, otherwise your sins no matter how small you may view them awaits you before God! Matthew 18:23-35

God bless you! smiley

1. Did you go to the congregation of your church and confess the abominations you committed against women and maybe little girls as well?

2. Did you confess to your family what you have done?

3. Did you make atonement to your victims and how?

4. Are you married and was she a victim of your sick lust?

5. Are you a registered sex offender with your state so that your community can be aware?

God's word admonished that we help our fellow man to gain everlasting life, not to destroy them.
Of course each and everyone of us have committed some crimes in the past {Psalms 53:3} and the wages of sin is DEATH! Romans 6:23
This means we're all walking corpses if viewed from God's standard {Luke 9:60} so for us to assist one another, all we need to do is help a sinner get strength to overcome his weaknesses NOT thinking of how to get your pound of flesh! smiley

I just hope this won't make you deny knowing Jesus (God's only begotten son) because all these questions amount to nothing before his father once a culprit is prepared to turn a new leaf!

Your judgmental attitude has taken over you to the point of rejecting the words of the God you claim to believe (trust)!

My questions are about atonement for your sins. If you really have changed in your heart these are some of the things you must do to right your wrongs. This is about you not me. I study Yahuah, you believe in Jesus.

Well the law in Nigeria is different from the law in the US. It doesn't matter if you are boyfriend and girlfriend it doesn't even matter if you are husband and wife *Rape is Rape,* You should right your wrongs by atonement.

You will not forgive a man for doing to your daughter what you have done to others daughters, stop lying to yourself. You give me cold chills all throughout my body and soul. You are the boogie man that little girls are afraid of. Ewww!!! angry

Stop it! What’s wrong with you.

About a little over a decade ago, my roommate raped my girlfriend. I didn’t know until a few weeks later. We spoke about it; and she decided to forgive him; we also decided not to surrender our peace of mind to her attacker. We indeed forgave him and our love for each other soared after that event. Maybe she would have been devastated if she didn’t have someone who loved her in spite of the incident in which her virginity was taken away from her. I continued staying with my roommate for several months; and we never spoke about it.

Sarah died a few years later; but I am glad she passed away without remembering the pain that was inflicted on her.

Love covers an ocean of sin.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah." Sahih Bukhari 4:93:494

Also, your Prophet said you should only swear when you're sincere, so if you're sincere, obey Allah and swear.

I agree with you that rape is a heinous crime. My message wasn’t about my roommate; my message was concerning Sarah. After that incident, my roommate found it difficult to stay with me; I continued to stay in our apartment because there was no other place to go; Sarah knew my constraint and wasn’t bothered; as long as she didn’t come to visit me, she was fine. Did I love her? Yes! Should I have reported him to the police? Maybe, but I didn’t do so.

Khia, you are not harsh. But the danger in judging people personally comes when we don’t know when to stop; so, it’s better not to start at all.

Should the criminal be castrated, imprisoned, fined or killed? Let the justice system decide. However, let the victims take the initiative to forgive their attackers. If judgment were to be rendered to all of us, the earth would be but a few people; in everyone’s lineage has existed murderers or accomplices in murder - this should be our tenderness.

Forgiveness is usually the best option for the victim and every means of achieving it should be sort.

"Rape is an abomination" is your own personal opinion Ma!

Circumstances determines!

In Arab countries, a man has the right to beat up his wife and rape her at will since he is legally married to her!
In Western countries, a woman has the right to turn her husband down, and if he forcefully do it it's tantamount to rape!

So while some people call it abomination, some take it as mere childish appeal of doing things.

It's only God who knows what is right and what is wrong, that's why we all need to learn from him! Isaiah 48:17-18
