It's been excellent since the lockdown began. . .until this week. This week they've decided to punish us for the excellent power supply that they've provided in the past 3 months.

Though they have been trying at least in Ibadan north east to be precise, we have light like 15-17 hours but since last week we have been in total darkness!

Lugbe is a dark zone in Abuja. Less than six hours on a good day. Mostly from midnight to 5 am.

Lolz, op you are taking Fashola the minister of darkness serious Wonderful shocked

Fashola was overhyped when he was a Governor. Even a mad man will function as Governor of Lagos State because Lagos is like a country inside a country with huge IGR to fund any project, secure any amount of project loans and loot enough and still have enough left.

Don't ever use Lagos Governorship to measure the good leadership skill of any politician, if you want to know good leader, take the person to go and govern states like Ekiti, Abia, Osun, Benue, Taraba, Ebonyi, not a rich cosmopolitan state like Lagos undecided

Fashola is a failure who looted even money for sinking borehole, used millions to create stupid website grin

The Minister of Power, Mr. Sale Mamman, has stated that the entire country currently enjoys between 18 to 24 hours of power every day.
Is your brain epileptic too like the power in your area?

Nothing has changed in power supply in Nigeria..

Over the years, some areas in states across the country enjoy electricity better than others. Is been like this. Till date, some areas may enjoy electricity supply than others in the same state.

So, generally speaking, the current administration has not done anything different. It is still same story where larger percentage of the country suffer from poor electricity.

During the last administration, there were areas in the state I reside that had between 10 to 20 hours of electricity daily. There were areas that barely see light per day, there were areas that saw but very limited supply.

Forward to current administration, it is still same story, more like a swap thing. A govt that can provide larger parts of Nigeria with up to 20 hours of electricity daily, announce to Nigerians when there will be electricity cut, fast response to electricity issue, etc, that is the govt that should brag. Not what this current govt has done. It has done nothing different from the previous administrations.

Nobody will be interested in joining issues with you on this.

You should first ask yourself, what percentage of Nigeria is amuwo odofin?

Then have you tried to ask other people living in other areas of Lagos the situation of light in their areas.

Also have you tried to call your friends in other states to know how their light is?

To be candid with you even the minister who made the statement knows not up to 20% of Nigeria is enjoying 10 hours of power per day.

Jakande Gate, Isolo side has been little London....

Na we dey pray make dem take light

during this period of lock down, there is 70% improvement of light in kaduna, sabo, goni gora, romi, kauka, kaduna south as whole apart from kachia local government in kaduna state which is 99.5% worse. let me just say there is no light that local government call kachia.

Power demand is nowhere near pre-covid levels as a lot of companies and industries are still shut or operating far below capacity due to the interstate lockdown either with huge inventory backlog or trickle raw materials. Logistics has been a nightmare for me since April though I'm up in most locations.

So to determine the quality of electricity supply will not be accurate for a while. When the big boys are fully back, we will see. PHCN has to manage the small fry for now to maintain cash flow thus the seeming improvement in some parts.
