FG should do the needful, these people have family too. Injustice for one is Injustice for all.

If the government was organized and sensible they would have made financial packages available to sustain such private business badly affected by the covid19 measures. Schools and the likes. Bt offcourse here we don’t think until we see such happen in the west or smwhere else then we start to form activities to save face.

Please save the teachers

This is however the time for some of these private school teachers to become creative and take private lectures online via their personal websites, whatsapp portals, Zoom portal or any other media outlet.

They shouldn't wait until things get tougher for them. They should create financial opportunities around this present situation.

Building a website, creating whatsapp portals and promoting them strategically and socially isn't rocket science.

At LifeSolutionsTV; We help provide financial solutions to Business and Investment Challenges plaguing any personality or industry.

I think about private school teachers everyday they're the worst hit in this whole situation. One lesson we all have learned from this whole period is that everyone needs more than one source of income.

ok, the safety of the student first, they should look for other things to do, what is the essence of the work you are doing that can't sustain you for even a year, covid provide an avenue for you to access your 9 to 5 work, earn income online and stop being slave to some silly greedy proprietor.

The most hit teachers don't even have access to the internet. They are in rural communities.

Useless TRCN People will not fight for anyone now. They don't care about what happens to teachers now. They will remember Government regulations on private Schools when it is rosy.

Imagine my girl who's teaching in one of the private school in abuja told me they've not been paid for march and the propriator has not even call and ask how they're fairing and coping... Too bad... Government should come to their needooo pls or else most of them will die of hunger

It hasn't been the best of times for a lot of schools to be honest. And the fact that private schools account for a considerable number of Nigeria's labour force has made the situation sadder. Well, the lessons learned this period will never be forgotten. Nothing will ever take me unawares like this again, ever.

I am a private school proprietor/ teacher, it has not been easy at all.The government should please come our rescue

As a proprietor, is there any reason why you are not organising online classes for your students like many other private schools? I think you can make a little money through this, and also create a source of income for other teachers.

I also believe that individual teachers can also offer online classes to their students at home, especially those preparing for common entrance, JSSCE and WAEC/NECO. Even after COVID19, this can be a source of extra income for teachers. If funding for laptop, data, etc. is the issue, I think that is what teachers should ask for help for, and maybe use gofundme platform.

Asking for help just to feed is not really sustainable.

How many homes can afford Internet and hardware needed for the online class. Don't just look at issues from a borrow point of view.

Its understandable, I really feel for them. But they can also do home lessons for kids. The ones here do home lessons and collect their money.

What if the parenta too are at home due to lockdown, managing essentials only

Who did they send the 20k for the poorest of the poorest to?
Yet one man who was conceived in lie and delivered in lie and raise in lie said they have given all Nigerians 20k each, that nobody is hungry. APC was founded in lie by liars.
I spit on that party
