If I can get my income to rise between 70k to 100k, I would then begin to consider finding a wife.
A word of advice bro, kindly add a working class lady or someone who does something for a living to your equation lest that your proposed 6-figure salary will be meaningless. cheesy

Let me give you a case study, there was a time I was earning more than 300K monthly and my wife wasn't working. Mehn, life was tough and hell. Before month end, I don borrow full ground. But to the glory of God, now, she has her own shop and Covid-19 don reduce my own income to around 60K (from side hustle though). Life has good and easy because she dey support my ministry. I'll just drop 40K month end, she'll augment it and buy food stuff full house. Guyman go still hold the remaining 20K use am dey do big boy small. cheesy cheesy

I don't think it's about the money itself, but more about you and your partner, the ability to hustle together, understand each other, cooperate towards a common goal and cut your coat according to your cloth in the meantime.

Sir or ma'am money is a very big factor in running a family or starting one.
Please no one should deny this fact.

Be optimistic. That you're earning averagely now doesn't mean you'll remain at that level.

What if you wait and till 60 you're still an average earner? Is it then you'll now decide to settle down? So don't let that be a major determining factor to settling down. Something may or may not happen along the line but just go with the flow in the mean time and hope for the best. Either ways, we will still hope for the best.

We have seen people who started out with high earnings only for things to go south along the line but that didn't make them shut down family life. So put your trust in God and not your present financial status.

I'm not married and don't think I want to.
Might change my mind later. cheesy

People that use 600k and above to do traditional wedding to impress people, we'll done o undecided

After wedding, you come down to earth, owing lots of people.
If you want to get married, check your pocket, no go do pass yourself.

And, know who you're about to get married to. Don't go for someone that has faulty thinking faculty.
Sometimes, you can't avoid such spending. When your inlaws give you marriage list, that is when you know what to spend. Some marriage lists alone are close to, about or even more than 600 thousand

All you need is focus and determination, With God every other things will fall into places. Also always look ahead to move and grow your career at any given opportunity. Never be satisfied with your present.
I need a job Sir..logistics, warehouse, inventory supply chain, or procurement operations.. that's my field, pls let God use you if u can. thank you!!

Good question..I got married in 2018 as a Male Nurse and I was earning a total of 150k per month from 2 jobs in Lagos. I live in a mini flat on the mainland with rent of 250k/year. My wife does petty business plus a monthly salary of 60k. To me, marriage has been a blessing. I now make an average of 300k monthly. I bought my first car last month comfortably and the family is fine

With what I’m seeing daily, Getting married is becoming scaring but when we get to that stage we will know how to cross the boat

EXLOVER:
Nice thread.

It will help we single guys, if only i will marry o. Cause this generation girls hardly focus on one man/preek. Social media dor spoil them.

In short during our marriage, we will have special canopy for all our exes, make we know our enemies. I hate nonsense
