The guy was off yesterday. The rashford we all know from the beginning of the season would have done better with that pass. He has received tonnes of those kinds of passes this season, and has done well with them. Even if he didn't score, they always result to at least a shot on target

That was a long ball. Sanchez was always going to recover based on his alertness. Even Berbatov will need a second to control that long ball and that was enough for Sanchez to cover 10 meters.

Go and watch the much praised Bernatov control against City which he passed to Tevez, he did not control the long ball 100%. Rashford did well, if he met a sluggish defender he would have scored.

When Salah scored against United, how was James able to close more than 30 meter gap? That was because Salah needed some seconds to control a ball in flight.
