The word "perfect" is based on man's definition of things, and that stems from his understanding. Man's understanding is limited: if we go by the Bible we would know that we are among the most foolish beings God created. Far foolish than his angels; if we go by Yoruba beliefs and all the words the eboras and spirits tell humans, it is that we are far below in the understanding of great things.


I don't believe God created the world to be perfect as per human standard. To God, the world might be just as perfect as he wants it.

The bible did tell us that Pharaoh, Herod were created for reasons of this and that.

I believe that God should perfect and his wisdom is nothing we can actually get to imagine, afterall the mind of man was created to be limited. So the discussion of whether he is perfect or not is not something we can actually get to investigate cause we don't know the fullness of his wisdom.

Or, perhaps, could it be that your idea of perfection is simply things that work for you?

What makes you believe that perfection would mean same to you as it does to anything that created the world?

I don't agree with you on this. The bible said Jesus said that the enemies of man are the flesh, the world and Satan. It was also written that Satan is allowed to reign, and after some years, he would be defeated and cast into fire for 10,000 years.
The rationalization of Satan might be to later pick men who are fit to reign in God's kingdom if they get to defeat those enemies, yeah?


But Jesus himself, a man who was created, from the womb to be just and perfect, who knew his purpose on earth and had great powers even got tempted by Satan.
The majority of the population do not even know their life purposes but are now told to defeat Satan, etc with what? The comforter, holy spirit?

I don't believe that whole thing. The true message might have been distorted for all I know.

Jesus who wanted to save the whole world did not save his own people, the Jews and left them for "suffer". He has all the might, but didn't save the generation of Abraham.


I believe we all have our purposes. Wickedness as you term might be a fruit of the flesh and Satan. But I sincerely do not see Jesus as the way out of it. Afterall the Christians who brought the religion and worshipped Jesus very well carted our people away as slaves and killed and treated them indiscriminately.
If Jesus was the way to stop all wickedness, we won't have generations of Christians committing unimaginable atrocities in subtle manners.


By knowing and accepting our purposes first, greed and selfishness, the parents of wickedness will stop. And yes, Jesus will then come to the picture to give people to the pleasant thing they want to hear; that there is a paradise for them.

God may not be a being though as most of us see him to be. Cause we don't really understand the way things we can't see (spirits) operate, we choose to see him as a being. He might not be a being, but the largest force that exists who then assembled other forces together to create the universe, design the things therein and gave it the laws.
