God forgives our sins if we ask for forgiveness and truly repent and make total change from our sinful lives.
As we know living without sin in this world is not easy ,that is what keeps attracting people to karma.

To answer your question:
I call Karma the "universal constitution" that operates within the realm of human consciousness.
God on the other hand is a being that exists beyond all laws.
An example: A building engineer can decide to use burnt bricks, stones, or cement blocks to build a structure. He can also decide to use different types of bonding to hold the bricks, blocks or stones together. And so forth in this example...
God exercises "supreme divine prerogative" (.i.e he can do whatever he wants).
He can choose to forgive whoever he wants for whatever reasons. That is why he is GOD.

There is Karma and there is the forgiveness of God. God does forgive but you will still have to face the consequences of your misdeeds. That doesn't mean God hasn't forgiven you. Yes! God's forgiveness and karma are two different things.

God forgives our sin through the blood Jesus Christ shield on the cross of Calvary. Ephesians 1 vs 7.
But you have to reap what you sow through your actions.
Galatians 6 vs 7.

When you ask God for forgiveness, he forgives you & throws a challenge your way to see if you've repented? Your ability to navigate this new challenge is a testament to your willingness to change and be a better person. Been obidients to God is a constant struggle against your character, flesh and spirit. This is why we must continue to serve & worship God at all times even when we are not perfect. The 3 cardinal ways to serve him properly, fasting, praying & alms giving couple with listening to his word & practicing them as much as we can. Forgiveness doesn’t mean that you won’t suffer the consequences of your actions. Although you can ask God by His mercies to take away the consequences too
