an apple costing over 1k in naija? ..do u know how much is 3 dollars converted to naija naira? dats about one thousand one hundred and something in naira.no apple costs such an amount in any street in nigeria.Yes fruits like apples are quite expensive for the average nigeria in nigeria cos nigeria does not cultivate apples due to the very harsh nigerian climate but they are not up to 3 dollars.most of the apples sold in nigeria streets or shopping malls are imported from north africa.but there are cheaper fruits cultivated in naija like guava,mango,pawpaw and bananas.for apples its quite expensive for the average nigerian.
