Just send them your statement - they’re not the visa office (of which, TLS still isn’t open by the way). Also, the Uni’s request clearly states that what they want to see is that you have the required funds and that your proof of funds meets UKVI’s requirements.

If it’ll make you feel better, mention that you know you can’t apply until the ~29th of July. I don’t think there’s a need for any story.

The person will have to pay your full fees directly to your preferred school (or transfer your tuition balance after deposit payment to your account) and transfer your maintenance funds to your account where it has to be for at least 28 days prior to your online visa application and in some cases, CAS issuance. You can't use the person's bank statements because the person doesn't qualify as a sponsor.
Other options include: govt funded scholarships, scholarships from international companies/organisations, parental sponsorship, self sponsorship and loans.

About 15k yearly. There are courses cheaper and more expensive than that though (i.e. HR can be as high as £18k, MBA between £20k and £30k plus; Suffolk, Chester, Bedfordshire and some others have courses in the £9-10k range). Check for the schools with the courses you want and what their tuition is like.

I have called, emailed, and texted still no response. Can someone help with this please? I have started calling again this morning and still nothing

Just wanted to update you guys since I have been complaining about them and I have accepted another school. Lols

Asin ehn...I contacted them twice and they said I have to be patient with them that the course is on a popular demand.

Same here , I didn't have to call and I got 16th of July via email

They do respond but it usually takes time. For instance, I got response from Lagos Centre after over 24hrs that I mailed them. I have completed the booking process and got July 22nd as my appointment date.

An applicant can send a mail while also trying out the call option.

Most schools their journalism course is not accredited even if its accredited its just one body. And the modules are quiet okay.

I never said all courses are not on popular demand. And most courses take two to three weeks to respond.


There are media courses after their interview they will ask for past journalism articles you have written or reported. They will come back ask for voice note. Come back again ask for video on stories you have covered etc, some will ask for links to your past jobs.

The process is quiet long and their request came late.

At least they interviewed you once and I guess they did not ask you for any past materials or projects to submit.
