Another thing you should understand is that most government agencies try to look into issues when it’s all over social media. South Africa has not yet opened up their airports and also has a higher COVID case than Nigeria but they will start accepting new applications from next week. It’s because they are always vocal and active on their High Commissions twitter handle and also disturbing TLS on LinkedIn. Surely, one of their the top bosses will stumble on it and ask questions to know why things are being held up. So please contribute to making our petition visible.
The embassy will be opened when the officials feel it is necessary and safe to do so. We need to pocket our aggressiveness.

Nah, you are still required to self isolate. You fill a form and provide an address where you would be for the next 14 days upon arriving in the UK. This your update is for countries on the corridor list of which Nigeria (and Africa) are not a part of.

He provided a source to his own claim! Do you have any source for yours? They mentioned the 14 days quarantine routine has been lifted for 74 countries..that don’t seem like ‘corridor’ to me!

I would make the inquiry by sending e-mail. Going there will amount to a waste of time. Let TLS confirm that your passport is ready for pick-up before going. I understand the feeling of waiting anxiously, sending a mail is the better option here. My thoughts.

The delay is because of the pandemic. You will hear from them when decision is made. Don't cancel it because I don't think you will be refunded after biometrics.

IELTS UKVI General is one.

Also, your friend can proof her English thorough UK NARIC assessment.

Things you need:
- copies of your transcript,
- certificate from a tertiary institution
- A letter showing that English language was the mode of teaching in the tertiary institution
Things you would do:
- You will register on their website (https://www.naric.org.uk/visas%20and%20nationality/how%20to%20apply.aspx)
- upload those documents
- make payment with your credit/debit card
- select mode of shipping the assessment certificate back to you. I will suggest choosing the option of DHL for sending the assessment certificate back to you.

Pls if I want to pay for IELTS exam online, where do I go to avoid scammers. Or better still how can I be sure I'm not paying into scammers account online. Thanks for your reply as I'm awaiting it.

Maybe they mean the slots will be open from that day.
