Another way to gain it very well it to buy the bag of flour, that's if you have the money to do that. Buy full crates of egg, don't measure groundnut oil from road side or from mama nkechi just close ur eyes and buy full gallon of 5litres oil. Only minor ingredients like sugar, flavours and some others is what u should buy little, this is the secret to bigger gains. Buy d time u exhaust ur bag of flower u would have almost gotten back twice d money with which u used to buy the flour. This is a first hand information from experience.

A job where you are stuck in the class Monday to Fridays and sometimes Saturdays for other extra activities or a business you can go home to your family at any time or even choose not to go to work at all?. A friend of mine is an intelligent teacher.
A father to one of his pupils who is a politician has given the guy supply business in the LGA office.
The guy is combining his teaching job to the supply business that is giving him so much money that at a point he wanted to drop the teaching job.
I advised him not to do dat, rather he should try to get more degrees to see if he can get teaching job in a higher School or university.

You talked of getting stuck in classroom. Teaching job is one of such professions that will give you enough time to yourself and your family.
Some times, you get 3months holidays. Resting at home while ur salary is running.

It hasn't been easy at all.....Thank God for Mr. President who has taken the decision of assisting the private school teachers. look at the screenshot below... I can't start explaining much but this is one out of 3 parents I know that are being billed exorbitantly for e learning.

If they are being billed high fees it means that that their normal base fee is high. One of the contributors contributor to the base fee is salary costs. In the early months of, the pandemic schools tried to maintain near parity in wages. These type of schools try to strike a balance between teacher wages and parent costs. ,
But these schools are not owing teachers wages. There is always a trade-off. I am very sure that the base fee in the screenshot fees you attach is near 400k plus.[b] I accept that some schools take unnecessary advantage [/b]but I have comparative fees for the top 5 Lagos schools and all of them either have generous payment terms or subsidized fees vis a vis their base fees.

What many parents do not realize is that from a developmental perspective, it will be exceptionally difficult to replace the time lost to the pandemic. Anything that can ameliorate that damage should be considered. If parents cannot afford it they should look gor cheaper alternatives

As a maths and science teacher it did not affect me much.
Just only the first month of abrupt closure

I have seen doing lessons

I am even using this opportunity to relearn chemistry

So that my service will be full package I won't need to employ a chemistry teacher again
