The major reason I change my engine is because of vibration even the new grade A engine I brought still vibrate and I notice the rpm always drop to 400/500rpm in traffic which make my engine vibrate, even though I increase the rpm it will still drop.....
Most vibration in traffic is cause by fuel pump

Is it "connected direct" or did you switch to manual compressor? Also check sparks and coils.

I know it's a bad time to jump into the game as a partner, but I'm looking to do research now so I can do this when things pick up.

What is the best way to find a reliable driver to work with me?

True because with bolt your set destination expires the moment the trip ends but with Uber it continues till your must have arrived at your destination.

Talking about set destination.

I'm presently in VI with a rider with 3.0rating, I brought him here from Allen, Ikeja and he wants me to wait for about 2hrs and take him back because I made the ETA 15min earlier of whi I he was already late for a meeting.

Now, would I just wait for this man for 2hrs doing nothing? I suggested I hang around but he said he would pay me 1k per hr for waiting. So right now I'm kinda confused because
1. I've not collected miney for the trip yet
2. I've not made any reasonable amount of money since 7am that I left the house, just 3k since morning.
3. There's surge presently.

So I'm thinking if I set destination around this LGA if it will make sense I work b4 he's done.

Suggest guys.

Thanks

coker007:
Hello,

I've received calls from prospective partners but none have actually made the decision to partner with.

I understand we don't know each other from SWAT and some or most have fears of being in company with a fellow with a few loose screws, so in order to alleviate your fears you could simply run a quick background check on who it is you want to call and partner with by simply checking previous posts on other matters not relating to request for partnership or whatever.

By doing this you could get a feel of the type of person youd be calling or getting involved with (since a lot of people forget their home training because they're "anonymous"wink even before placing a call, siting them from a distance and avoiding unnecessary risk.

To sort your choices simply avoid those with bad history/record or those that are just too repetitive for your taste and engage with those that you feel are rational beings to an extent according to your taste.

It's really that simple, I hope I've lessened your worries a bit ☺️.

That being said if you've got a vehicle and looking to partner with a driver in Lagos, kindly quote me or look up my number in previous post's, I'll respond as soon as I can ☺️

grin grin I love driving, but I don't think it will ever get to that... I was just fortunate to b getting within trips, if there's one tin I've always known in dis bussines, those that live in lekki have a great advantage compare to those on the mainland, no matter how a bad day goes on the island, you will still take sometin home unlike when mainland choose to fustrate one, from yaya abatan to adeniyi Jones, there to opebi, from opebi to alausa, then back to adeniyi Jones, up next - magodo, then one will sleep well b4 next within magodo trip grin 7 trips 4 thousand naira grin I miss d good old ole days, from mainland to island, do within till 4/5, gently set destination, while I drive towards V.I and position under surge, won't pick any trip not worth 2k5.

Imagine.

Got a request (dolphin estate), drove to pick up. Rider came out and said sorry he's not going again; that I should start the trip and end it so they'll charge him for the stress and went back inside. (card trip).
That's how I started the trip, ended it immediately and found myself offline.
Trip counted as a declined trip. When I was close to clinching my morning bonus. I lost the 5h and lost the 1.2k also.

Luckily I got another trip to surulere.
I'm in my house now frying for breakfast.

We continue @11am.

But how did we get to this point in this country that local government illiterate, touts, mechanic, vulcanizer and Co can arrest cars on the road, taking the place of police officers. Removing road signs just to lure their prey into their trap. Are the activities of local government tout backed up by law or is one of those abnormalities that will dance along in this country. I was at one of the local government in Lagos, you need to see how these bird of ill-omen tout are mocking drivers about drivers begging them, money negotiations and how they strategize and stuff. Is really worrisome because is more like NNPC work for them. I really pity some uber drivers yesterday at their mercy, begging them with 20k+ despite the inconsiderate uber fares. Lets just watch out! 1luv!

Okay. You're really doing okay. I target 2.5k - 4.5k per day minus fuel using InDriver alone and it is practically impossible to achieve considering the time I close (7pm) from work when on morning shift. I really need to get uber activated. What's holding me is that there's a scratch on the driver side of my car and I need a spare tyre.

...if only InDriver has set destination feature. The other day, I blew empty from vi to ajao. Plus you have a lot of people playing with the app.

If you are on the Island heading to Surulere avoid Carter bridge, rather go through Apogbon. Heavy traffic because of those heading to Apapa.
