Usually, there is no scholarship rate.
The fees discounts depend on different factors; course of study plays a role. Your undergraduate final cgpa plays a role. Your personal statement may play a role too.
Therefore, you need to ask the universities the self.

Hi apart from Coventry do you know anyother school that does this? And using an old waec would that be a problem at visa stage?

There are a lot of other schools.
Just search on their websites.

To be honest I don’t really know other schools who accept Nigerian O level results directly to year one apart from Coventry.

You can always send them (Other schools)an email to inquire though.

For old waec, if you are above 25yrs, I won’t advise you to apply for an undergraduate course. But if you are 25 and below, you can scale through with sound personal statement and proper guidance

I hope the above helps.

Already got an admission with Coventry thanks for your advice tho. Also the latter part of your message when you are talking about personal state does that have to do with school applications or visa process because i asked about old waec result in relation to visa process

All you have said is so wrong. But just say your own opinion and that's fine.

Sorry I mean the fee discount they give to postgraduate applicant. The reason I asked is because I know most schools have a general discount rate they give, exemption to those that finished with first class and the likes. Pls o anyone from Edinburgh Napier or henri-watt university should pls respond ASAP.

Just check their websites. Either under the international students section or the fees and funding section.

Your personal statement at the point of application covers why you want to study the course, YOUR STUDY GAP, why you chose the University, why you chose the UK and your future plan.

Universities admission team usually look at these to make an offer.

These are same questions you are going to face at the interview level.

Someone corrected my comment earlier, so I am going to add this - my personal opinion please!!!

Apologies please.

My personal opinion.

I have seen some people 'scale through'

its risky though.

individual circumstances might not be the same.

Thats where study gap comes in.

where you sleeping at home for 8 years?

Dropped out of school?

Bereaved?

I do not know his personal circumstances.

So 'confusing and misleading', you are correct too.

thanks

Yes, you can.
The funds will be calculated as
• the closing balance of one account;
• any additional money available to you on the date of that closing balance, for which you have provided the required evidence.

Coventry doesn't require a personal statement best of my knowledge, all they require is your result.

Alright @Kingp91

You are absolutely correct.

But if Coventry offered you a place, i guess it was a conditional offer?

The offer must have stated your personal statement as one of the conditions.

This also means that if your personal statement which is the only primary channel for you to communicate your individual circumstances, fail to do so,

The offer will still be rejected tomorrow.

Thats the meaning of the word

'CONDITIONAL'

PLease house can’t we use our Naira card to pay for visa fee and HIS fee
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 10:44am On Jul 23, 2020
You can but if your bank has imposed monthly or daily limits to your Forex transactions, you will have to use separate cards, find a bank which doesn't have limits yet (I think someone mentioned Access Bank earlier), or use a Forex card.

Please explain further. Does it mean I can use my mum and dad's account separately, if the sum of both gives the required amount?

My condition was showing my originalwaec result which i did then an offer letter was sent which said paying the deposit of 4k and showing my bank statement. Nothing about personal statement.

Sorry about that.
It simply means that the amount in the account statements that you submit will be
- the total amount (closing balance) available in one of the accounts at the time of the online submission of your application plus
- the (closing balance) amount available in the other account(s) that you're using on the date you submit your online application.

If I need to show £20,000 as total of maintenance and tuition fee balance and submitted my online application on August 1, I need to submit bank statements showing the money.
If I submit 3 bank statements with closing balances of £3000, £9000 and £8000 on the date of my online submission, the ECO will take the amount available to me as money from one account (£9000) plus additional money available in the other accounts on the day of my online application submission (£8000 + 3000).
The above sums must be the total in the account on August 1 (the day I submitted my online application) and must have been in the account for at least 28 days before the submission of my application online.

Yes, you can but why not just put the total funds that you need in one account? It saves the stress of providing multiple evidence and worrying about the ECO missing information on any of the bank statements.

They sent a mail for me to send my IELTS cos they said it is about to be forwarded to their compliance team. I want the CAS to be ready towards month end so that if they need my statement it must have met the 28 days timeline.
@mdeeokoye why did LHU request for your IELTS? Didn't you use waec as English proof? Asking because I am heading to LHU too o

While I am not a fan of this approach but it fine . The downside it can lead to confusion. If you are using multiple bank accounts then include a short cover letter so that the Vo is clear .

I am submitting three bank accounts
1 . Parent a x million
2. Parent b x million
3. Self x million
Total amount : xx millions
