Lexusgs430: Bros I have never seen anyone give out free money like this in my life. People that have relocated applied and got it. How do you expect that to be paid back? 1 Like |

justwise: The exchange rate is always a different of 30 above Ace. I tried using Ace once and I quickly cancelled the transaction once I found out the difference in exchange rate. |

LagosismyHome: They always give you the black market rate but they make their money by charging a transfer fee. I always shop around. I’ve got about 3 agents on speed dial. And they always better than Ace, money wise or moneyflex. The only difference is that an agent is not 100% safe. If anything happens there’s no one to cry to except the person who introduced you. |

justwise: Yes it’s just the risk. But when you’ve been using the same agent for close to 10 years, you become complacent and hope that they don’t betray your trust. That’s where I am now. If it happens, it happens... |

wonlasewonimi: If you don't own a property now or ever. very good........ If you own a property, expect a charge on that property........ Some fish bones are not always from mackerel, if shark bone hook you for throat............ |

Lexusgs430: Yinmu..how can anyone charge a property that I didnt put down as collateral when applying for a loan. Also, if the property is jointly owned nko? The BBL is so unbelievably flawed. The banks don't care cos the government has already guaranteed defaults. I even heard some Asians got up to 250k using all their dormant accounts. 2 Likes |

wonlasewonimi: A non secured loan, can be charged on a property (collateral or not), (joint ownership or not)...... If a charge goes on a property, both owners would receive a letter from the land registry, informing them of charge...... Shark bone to throat.......... |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by wonlasewonimi: 10:37pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
Lexusgs430: You're a great joker mate. An unsecured loan cannot be charged on a property. Aside that the concept of separate legal entity is in force here...the business took the loan. The worst they could do is for debt collector to be chasing the director, they still have to go through courts to pierce the veil of incorporation. He can file for bankruptcy and they put markers on his credit file which become statute barred after 6 years. He can then become a born again! With this one, UK govt don chop gbese. 1 Like |

Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Lexusgs430: 10:42pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
wonlasewonimi: Debt collectors would be used by the banks to chase, as usual...... When all avenues are exhausted, a CCJ is issued, then escalated to a property charge...... |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by wonlasewonimi: 10:44pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
Lexusgs430: No. They can try it but it doesnt work. There's a pre-existing mortgage on the property. So, you think the lender will be looking like bolo for you to try and sell to get your own money abi? 1 Like |

Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by wonlasewonimi: 10:47pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
Lexusgs430: This could include applying for a charging order on your home - although they should make clear upfront, whether or not this is part of their business strategy. Law is very interesting bro |

Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Lexusgs430: 10:53pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
wonlasewonimi: It is very easy, believe me........ Takes a longer period for all the legals, but in the end..... A charge would be placed... Even car finance deals, can be charged on a property, default on student loans, can also be charged to a property etc etc....... |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by wonlasewonimi: 10:57pm On Jul 22, 2020 |
Lexusgs430: You missed the point...when BBL was taken at what point did you tell me my property is at stake if I default? Mortgage default is the only sure banker to reposess the property. This would have been agreed from outset. 1 Like |

Lexusgs430: That is why I said the premise upon which the load is granted is flawed. Ordinarily, banks would do affordability and eligibilty checks. These are basic due dilligence activity conducted on potential loanees. The did zilch, nowt, zero and nada....owo abu 1 Like |
