I don't think she keeps malice and she doesn't seem to flinch when insulted she act like it doesn't bother her but she rather make joke out of it. She can be quite harsh or will i say strict but when you get to know her she's very funny and has a good sense of humor. I think she has multiple personality but the one that comes natural is when she's funny. Like she doesn't talk much but she's funny without effort( I don't think it's deliberate). For example if there are 30 people in a place, she will be one of the most popular and not that she talks much and if she doesn't show, everybody will know yet she's quiet.

Introvert comes from Latin intro- , "inward," and vertere , "turning." It describes a person who tends to turn inward mentally. Introverts sometimes avoid large groups of people, feeling more energized by time alone.
Introversion is at its root a type of temperament. It is not the same as shyness or having a withdrawn personality, and it is not pathological. It is also not something you can change. But you can learn to work with it, not against it.

I had my first zoom session today and I was damn too shy. Everyone started calling me a shy man.

I hated being shy. Thought I had gone past that.

So I read the article. Great one! I completely agree with you that we need to create more discourse on introversion as the misconceptions around it keeps increasing.

I didn't also catch on fast about why I behaved the way I did as a child, but I was so self-aware that I first accepted myself the way I was and was less subjected to pressure. The knowledge of personality traits soon followed as I grew.

We really must create more awareness around introversion so people can be more informed and act accordingly. It's ironic that this thread which sets out to do just that is sometimes flooded by people who don't understand what personality traits are and won't even learn (Dunning-Kruger Effect alert) so they can inform others right.

Introverts need to understand themselves and why they are the way they are, while extroverts need to understand introverts so as to know how to better relate to them as spouses, family, friends or colleagues. The world will be a better place for it.

Yes, we need to create more awareness on the introversion personality. There are still a lot of people who haven’t figured why they behave the way they do. Thankfully, this thread has been a source of enlightenment for many of us.
I am mostly concerned about parents who are not aware about the introversion personality. This results to problem for their introvert kids.

I just kinda feel bad cos I ended talking too much, even though I didn't say anything stupid or out of place.

I am damn too shy for my likeness as a Litigator. But each day, I try to be better than yesterday. I have reduced use consumption of alcohol by 90%, and I am grateful to God.

But my anxiety of facing people is killing. But then, they always love to hear what I have to say and that gives me joy.

I live being a Litigator, even though I don't like meeting people.

But then, you cannot light a candle and hide it under your bed. It will burn you and the bed.

Hello guys,
I think this thread is for me.
I don't Feel sad as an Introvert. When i go Home on holidays,i could stay indoors till i am ready to go back to School.
I do visit some Friends for the first few weeks and after that, its just indoor.

I Love Silence so Much. I could stay all day without Making Noise like I would Offend/Receive punishment from someone if i do.

Funny Enough, i am the Class President now. Even before i gained Admission, I worked in a company that i was in a position i had to Mentor people to carry out some procedures.

How i came to be the president still Surprised me and my course mates. I don't know if i was High throughout that period. Things i thought Normal me wouldnt try.
Because i am this Quite Type.
Only talk to my Friends.
My Classmates couldn't Believe i could Even Talk in Front of the Class Much less Giving a Speech that Made me won the president.

With the Stress etal, sometimes, i just want to Scream and Run back to my room and be Alone. I Hate too Much Attention at the same time.

I Love my things Coordinated, Straightforward, and in Line .which Make people Feel/Think i am too Serious with Life. I hate being caught unawares( Esp. parties). Once that Happens, I won't Attend.
When i try to tell people i am an Introvert, they think i am Lying. That i only want to Avoid them etal.

In All, I can't Change who i am. I only Try as Much as Possible to Accommodate and Adjust some Aspect of My Life.
