When you have a boyfriend that doesn't help during the time you are down, what should you do?
When he's down, I try to help, but when I'm down. He would see reasons to blame me, or abuse me in some ways and claim it's not abuse but the truth
For instance, he would say ''you don't think'', ''

It makes me cry that I have no one, I literary have no one
Can someone who treats you like that actually love you?
I believe that he's only with me because he's already with me and don't wanna break up.

Yea, he do say I'm local bla bla bla, which I believe its due to the fact that I'm not in city like him and I don't do things girls do. I'm somehow quiet and focused, but I can be very playful with him.
I don't wear beautiful cloths like other ladies, not do I have money to make up, I don't attend parties, I don't have friends, I don't wear good shoes, infact I don't have anything like the normal girls. But do I go and steal to buy? And I can't do bad things to get money as well.

Nor does he have money to give me to purchase stuffs. Plus I don't like demanding money from him nor anyone

On a serious note.

All you need to do is to discuss it with him and bring it to his awareness. Not everyone know how to show care the right time even if they care.

As much as you are not asking for too much if he truly cares he should put in effort. You need patients for people who are trying and making effort to change.

If after letting him know and things barely improve over time, it means he doesn't have that quality you are looking for. You will cry a river as long as you remain with him and you can't do anything about it until he decide to change.

What do you mean by I have no one - what happen to your father, did he died in an accident? And your mum, missing? Or dead too? Your uncles, aunts, bothers, cousins, grandma?

A) accept the man you got as you certainly cant change him
B) when he is down you "try" to help and when you are down and he also "try" to help, you see that as no good because you dont like what he is doing?! really?! you look like you just need a puppet, not a bf.
C) love does not mean your man should do everything "you" desire him to, but instead is for him to be HONEST to you.
D) what do you really expect from this man to do? just tell him what you want him to do and see if he is down with it. if he aint, find some other dude who will be down with what you desire. EOD

He loves you, believe me.. Though I can't vouch for every guy out there cos there are so many chameleons out there.. The reason for his behavior might be due to our chauvinist settings.. Check his background if he got so many females sisters or relatives who never allowed him do things or assist around the house giving him that man of the house feeling, that might be the root of his problem..

I don't really know your kind of relationship, but to know a guy who loves you deprive him sex and see how he reacts, same way you want to know a girl that loves you deprive her cash and watch her react.

Together we can make Nigeria better
