Note: by local I mean it has been that way for so long.. For me I think Lokoja remains the most local state capital in Nigeria, it has been the way it is for several years, no transformation or any added scenery

Tribal e warriors should stay clear

Try Oshogbo and ado ekiti..very timid and local place. I can count the number of storey buildings I met there when I went there. They are not fit to be called state capitals.

My state capital Asaba is improving everyday. Asaba is now the hot cake for Nollywood movie shooting.

Yet y'll vagabonds won't stop coming there, you couldn't even stay in your erosion ravaged redmud tiny Eldorado. What's with you cursed descendants of Cain the wanderer and your obsession with storey buildings? Not everyone is cursed with such tiny land that they have to start building useless storey buildings. Fools hype storey buildings like they are skyscrapers. Muppets!!!

You must be Oshogbo or ado ekiti cause most you are really frustrated and hopeless..how do you expect your place to be developed when most have left for Lagos and are doing agbero work there.Even tinubu has long forgotten that he came from osun state. Go and develop your places before skull miners and organ harvesters overruns there.Thank God that I came back with my head intact.

He opened a thread to discuss Yorubas.

This and thousands of thread were created by them all about Yorubas.

Amazingly, it is same them that will keep screaming Yorubas are always talking about igbos.

Even in this thread, you will soon see them repeating same crap.

Only God knows how they reason. undecided

Ibadan has more skyscrappers than the capital of your state

Ibadan has more shopping malls/recreation spots than your capital

Ibadan should also have more educational institutions than the capital of your state

And perhaps more industries.

Osogbo is the capital of Osun state, although Ife and Ilesha are more popular destinations in Osun than Osogbo.

Ado Ekiti is the capital of Ekiti state

Just unfortunate that only Lokoja and all Southern states are on slaughter slabs for comparison. It clearly shows that the Northern state are hardly visited by 90% of NLers because of killings, kidnappers and Islamic terrorism that abound in most higher muslims populated regions.

Kebbi, Yobe, Zamfara, Sokoto, Jigawa, Bauchi, Nasarawa and Osun are all glorified villages.

They are state capitals and look everything like state capital with government buildings and Educational institutions.

They are not more terrible than Umahia and Abakaliki

The post is defective. The Op is not adequately educated to handle the question. One, he doesn't understand the meaning of the word "local." Two, local doesn't mean underdeveloped or primitive but nearby. So, it's a pity he doesn't know what he is saying. For instance, "Lagos is local to me" means Lagos is close to me. So I advise the Op to return to school and leave Nairaland to mature minds.
