Yeah quite pricey. I’m just wondering how they evade persecution since it’s illegal.

LagosismyHome:

Went to check it out 14.99 for 1kg ........ someone must really love the skin to pay that price for 1kg . Goat usually less than £5 per kg so this not just double but triple the price

Samis online prices are not the same as what they offer in store. Their online prices are overpriced

Yes u are right, if u can register with medical lab council in Nigeria that will boost ur chances of getting registered with HCPC. I learnt to register with MLSCN u have to do another 2 years in uni if ur degree wasn’t MLS.

Alternatively, apply for topup modules in the U.K.

Can a biochemistry graduate register for hcpc straight up without additional qualifications?

Question is:
What do you want to practice as?
Is there a Profession called ‘Biochemist’ in the HCPC list of professions? I guess no.
You want to practice as Biomedical Scientist?
Then you need to do a ‘top-Up’ in the UK or, you do a Masters in Biomedical Science.

If you have the necessary experience which is very unlikely for a Nigerian university graduate

Biomedical sciences is divided into
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Virology/Immunology
- Cellular Pathology/Histology
- Hematology

You can specialise in any of the above.

Surrey and Warwickshire will be much better. There’s nothing wrong with Camden Town only that it’s London and London is very expensive so you wouldn’t get value for money. Surrey is equally expensive but you get good value for money.

I would say Warwick - Guildford - Camden. The reasons are as stated above. Guildford is about 37mins by train to London so you can easily get to London for whatever. Trains are frequent too. Warwick is up North so naturally cheaper.
