You must state your objectives, teaching methodology, instructional materials, activities, give your lesson in steps, summary, evaluation before your references.

Every lesson plan must have an objective, teacher activity, student activity, instructional technique, instructional procedure, instructional materials, evaluation, practice and summary.

What you wrote isn't an appropriate lesson plan.

Stop bragging about UI nonsense... There still many UI graduates , whom UI passed thru them...you try but didn't give the aim, scope and objectives of the topic( i.e what u want the student to know at the end of the topic, the limit u would go for the topic...)... I have not taught before , but what I understand from that question , is that , they just want to see your steps and outline for a lesson note , as simple as that... You can't form lesson note like that without references.

Behavioural Objective: At the end of this lesson, the students should be able to:
* Define respiration
* list different types of respiration...etc till list everything

Previous Knowledge: The students are familiar with breathing, respiration as an attributive of living things etc

Thank you. this is a good one, although I now work as a scientist, I had taught is a private school during my University years, lesson note was the key reason for my resignation from the job after three weeks, I never knew how to start.

Is a question u could have answer ... What the question requires from you, are your steps and and outline for a topic ... There is no way u can form lesson note without consulting text books and reference them...(just like the outline lecturers will always give u at the beginning of every class in the university to go form your lesson notes, using the students handbook tontknow the scope of the course and topics)

You can't blame him or his school. He is probably coming from science-based disciples. I was never thought this in my undergraduate years. My advice to him is to enroll in PGDE in any school if he wants to be a professional teacher.

Like someone noted above, what you wrote is not lesson plan.

But as a UI graduate and in accordance to my undergraduate experiences which spans 6years plus,i can write out a good lesson note sample for you here. see below.
